Legolas lowered his bow, confused "Tributes?" he asked. Admiring her leap, he jumped of the tree, bending his knees and standing up inmediatley. Then he walked over to the others.
"So I guess we have to make a camp before sunset" he glanced at the reddish sky, as he began to look around the forest, wondering if it was enchanted.

"Yes, Tributes." Rue said turning to the wood elf giving a nod to the Charr.
"I can tell you more when we make camp," She told him pulling out her extra pair of socks and pulling them over her hands to keep warm. She remembered the warmth of the night in Katniss's sleeping bag. Shivering, she sat down
"Here seems fine," Atleast here it was from what she had gathered safer than the arena she had been in.
"Anyone want to fancy making a fire?" she asked glancing around at the trees surounding them.

Boudiccia smiled and glanced at the others. They had all been taken from their own worlds and she wished them luck in their journeys. She turned to Rytlock. "Shall we go?" she asked him and glanced at the elf for the last time figuring he wasn't coming it saddened her for some reason. Her horses shifted slightly feeling their owners mood of confusion and defiance. She glanced to the girl who had suggested the fire and nodded. "I'm not sure it's safe here." she said.

'' i agree. we should find a cave. there much better than out here in the open.''

''im with the cat on this one. i know of many beasts that stalk the night out in the open. im not sure if we will find any but its better to be safe.'' the hunter added.

Rue nodded
"A cave sounds good, I can scout for one overhead." With that she climbed up a tree in a flash and peered over the canopy of leaves "There's one over to the west!" she called scrambleing down.
"That direction," she pointed out to one side. Rue survayed their suroundings "Lets go."

Legolas, even though he still didn't know what tributes were, nodded at Rytlock and Boudiccia.
"I don't think its safe. We should do it in an open place, without trees" he lowered his voice "where I come from, some forests are enchanted, the trees are alive. If you hurt them they can catch you in their roots, or make you get lost till you starve. I hope this isn't one of them"
He looked at Boudiccia, somehow sensing that there was something bothering her.
"I don't think it is safe to travel by night, there's no knowing what strange beasts dwell here, and they might want to eat your horses. Why don't we all camp tonight and tomorrow I will go with you, as I have nowhere else to go"
He followed Rue through the forest.

Boudicca smiled and climbed up onto the platform of her chariot. "Anyone want a ride?" she asked picking up the long leather reins. She was once of the best charioteers of her people but that was required of her and she was sure she could get them up the mountain to the cave a lot faster than if they all went of foot. If they sat down they could all just fit in. The gold chariot was after all built to be swifter and faster as it was a war chariot. She nodded at the elf's words. "Yes you are right but we can make it to the cave before nightfall and it will be easier to build a fire and to defend." she said with a smile as she began to relax.

Legolas nodded at her "But maybe it won't be able to go through the forest, the trees are very close together and there are bushes everywhere. If you want I'll try to find a path"
The elf moved through the trees swiftly. His ears picked up all sorts of sounds that he was unfamiliar with, aswell as strange tracks on the floor. He walked silently, his bow prepared.
Suddenly his keen eyesight picked up a small road that, although it was a bit overgrown, was a perfect size for the chariot.
In the same way as before he went back to where they were, being careful not to make the slightest noise.
"Ive found a place where we can drive through safely, but I don't know where it leads" he said to them

Boudicca watched the elf leave, he was so silent that it made her shiver slightly. She then leant again the edge of her chariot singing softly to her horses which nervously moved back and forwarding the strange place. She noticed the elf return just as silent as he had left and smiled. "Alright, lets get going, everyone up." she said gathering the reins in her hands.

Legolas climbed up on the chariot. There weren't many in Middle Earth, and he wasn't used to them, but still he jumped up, as he wondered what the rest of the fellowship of the ring were doing. He hoped they weren't dead. Legolas frowned. They had become great friends, and he missed them now, but he didn't say anything about it.
