Jordan rolled his eyes when Josslyn called him sparkles. He turned on his heal and began to lead her away from the crowd and to a secret spot he knew, where there were no cameras. He pulled her through the small opening and sat down on a small crate. "No cameras up here, so feel free to hit me. Because I know you have wanted to for awhile now." he said and laughed softly, fiddling with his fingers.

Anna laughed, grin spreading on her face again. "Then it's an alliance?" she asked, holding out her hand with a smile. She looked around and lowered her voice. "You're the best friend I could ever have.." she said quietly, her smile softening but still visible.

Josslyn sat down on a crate opposite of Jordan, a look of disinterest crossing her expression. "I'll keep that in mind after I wipe that grin off your face. Now, you wanted to talk to me?" Her blue gaze stays on the escort, giving him her full attention despite the fact that she just wanted to break his nose.

Braden hesitated for a moment, deciding. Jace seemed to be a good choice for an ally; and technically the boy wasn't a Career from the usual Career Districts. "Sure," he smiles, shaking the boy's hand. "Allies."

"I have no idea. Maybe the District 10 or 11 tributes? I know a good deal about plants, but it couldn't hurt to have another who does. Just no one we can get attached to," Hershi nods, looking around nervously.

"Continue being yourself," Grant said plainly. "You've probably heard that before, but that's real advice to follow. I know for a fact that most guys hate stuck-up snobs or girls who seem to be trying to be impressive. It's irritating and a little creepy. You seem like a pretty good kid to hang around, so just keep the same way." Grant flashed a quick smile back at Isla. "That's probably the tip you most have to follow. But also, don't obsessively try to make conversation. Don't avoid some, though. Oh, and don't make any snap judgements he likes you. Just because he smiles at you or something could just mean he thinks of you as a good friend." He shrugged, trying to think of anything else to say. "I know every single word I said sounds horribly cheesy. But, it's true."

I smiled at Grant. "It's not cheezy. Thank you so much." Before I could stop myself I actually hugged Grant. I quickly recovered by my next comment. "Well! I guess I better go and talk to some tributes! Have fun talking to her," I said, hoping he would realize I was talking about that girl from Nine.
I walked into the room with the other tributes and smiled. "Just be yourself." I remember Grant saying. There was no way I was going to let Grant down now.
I looked around and spotted that girl from District One that Braden called hot. I know I should be jealous of her, but Grant told me that Braden might not like me back. I should just be nice to her. "Hey! Alou, right?"

Alou was sitting, her grey eyes ever observant, when a voice interrupted her thoughts. Her name came from a soft yet clear voice. Her eyes turned swiftly, finding the girl. 'Yes, thats me. Alou Malloy. And your...Isa. From four, right?' She gave her a warm smile, and held out her hand. 'An honour.'

I turned my head to Blake as he entered the room. He sat down at the leather chair next to me and turned to look at me. I glanced down again. Don't make friends, I warned myself. Making friends means making them harder to kill.

Rulie smiled and shook her hand. "Alliance." Then her voice dropped, "Friend." She smiled and laughed at their ploy at secrecey.

Jace smiled. "Good, you won't regret it. I've worked with cattle, good at predicting the unpredictable, and don't worry I may not be form a career district but I'll give em' all a run for their money." He shook his hand.

I smiled a bit. However, I remembered what Grant said about not say our district number. Sadly, Alou already knew. Oh well, she was from District One, which met she would be useful in an alliance. "It's an honor to met you as well," I said, taking her hand and gently shaking it. "Iv'e always wondered what's it's like to live in District One."
