zoey stood nervously looking all around her as an anoncer purred "laidies first" she put her hand in the bowl and stirred it around a silence rang across the crowd as she lifted out a small folded piece of paper she slowly unfolded it "autumn tomson" rang across the district followed by me screaming "no no no i-i volenteer"

"The voulentier is Zoey." The other said.

the gards came to zoey and grabbed her arms as they steared her to the stage she scanned the croud and found autumn being held by her brother screaming and crying as the anouncer congragulated her

The other announcer pulled one out from the boys. "Tom Garbley!" He said.


"No!" Alue screamd and ran over to the boys side and held her brother. "I volenteer!" She screamed.

zoey walked to alue and shook her hand then the anouncer turned to the crouwd "happy hunger games and may he odds ever be in your favor"
