    >>> Imageacer slowly caught on to another wolfs scent. His burgundy eyes were focused on his location. His paws swiftly avoided the brush and the twigs that could snap. Snap and catch him in a witch snare. He snarled as her watched a bird travel across the dead grass in front of him. Its eyes were scared, and it was no where near its flock. How interesting. Racer thoughts began flowing through but the voice of Dare flowed through too. He sighed softly. After watching the bird walk slowly across the ground, and out of his sight he jumped up and began tracking the scent once again. Suddenly a house came into view. He sighed softly, and let his tongue roll out and his panting began. He let a large piercing howl and began stalking his way to the houses door. Defiantly, Hallo's house. The smell of rabbit was in the air and he could help but bark, asking for an entrance. Yet before he could bark again, Dare needed to come.

Dare sat on her rocking chair, the sound of creaking coming from its hinges every time she rocked backwards. The cold, un warmed bread sat in her lap. "Were could Racer be." She murmured quietly, and began peeling of pieces of bread, and throwing them into the air, where the stop in the center, and than vanish into smoke. Her smile was slowing vanishing, and a bored expression was crossing over her. "I cant take this!" she yelled to nothingness. Suddenly, a low yet piercing howl erupted into the air, and moments later it was followed by a bark of pleading and wanting. Standing up, her magic began doing its thing. She had always thought it was because her magic was bored, but than she noticed how everyone though she was just looked like a normal girl from town when she was nice, and clean looking. It was satin keeping her safe. Odd. She sighed and felt her dress laying against her skin, her hair being pulled behind her shoulders, her shoes laces being re placed under the flap of her shoes and slippers.

"Its about time. I was ready to go and actually help satin in the underworld." She hissed under breath. "Illusion, come." The dogs ears pricked up and her pushed her self and jumped down from the cushions. Blood and feathers clumped from her chin hair, and blood was dropping to the floor from her mouth. Dare let out a growl. Her hand flicked to the side and the blood, feathers and mess that had been made was blown into a circle that was twisting and turning. Her other hand lifted, opening a cabinet, and a jar came out, the top twisting off. Her Right hand, flicked once again and the blood and feather mix was slammed into the jar. The top slowly levitated into the air and she placed it on to the top, it seemed to twist on, and flow back into the cabinets grasp. She smiled lightly but it dropped, and her hands fell to her waist.

Her face showed no expression, and yet her hand grabbed on to Illusions silky fur, and her eyes seemed to flicker red. Transparent. Her body slowly, yet painlessly turned to mist, and the mist seemed to engulf the dog standing next to her. Clearly they. She, had done this before. The mist seemed to latch onto a line and the door slammed open, and it disapered into the light. The door was shut behind them and it was if nothing had ever touched the door or anything around it. As the mist flowed across the field looking for something intently, it rustled the leaves, causing the wolves prints to vanish, and any traces of life to vanish.

Dare was an orb, her eyes stared deeply into something that wasn't there. Illusion a dog, who was looking like a puppy relaxed and tensed. Only life in an orb was not to be seen. You would think it was mist, as Dare even thought Hallo and Katherina were before she found out how to do so and what was happening. Her mind was focused on her magic and one other thing. Racer his face was in her head. His eyes staring through hers, his lips curving back. His rustic scent. Not time travel at all. Yet telleportation.

The orb crossed a larger field and it suddenly was coming close to its destination and the warm blooded bodies seem to fall out of no where. A girl tumbled out hand up and her index finger pointing at something. Her eyes were closed tightly as if she had saw a monster and if she closed her eyes, shed be invisible. A dog, who looked free, relaxed stood in the air, and was slowly dropped to the ground with the motion of the girls finger. Dares finger. Eyes were now opened and a wolf, Racer stood outside of a door, a smile, or a wolf smile, crossing his face. Dare sighed. Not drained, but surprisingly her bored-ness decreasing as her eyes came into contact with the house.

"There is no need to ask permission when your at a friend's house." Dare smiled softly, and opened the door. "Oh Hallo! Your witchy sister friend is here!" Dare said. Yet when Dare can act rude and mean, you have to remember the busting in tender and funny side of her you have wait to see. <<<

With an elegant brow arched and hands placed on her hips, Aniera patiently awaited Eden's response with a somewhat stern look on her face, which of course was playful. Never did Aniera get angered with Eden. Oh, no.. What reason was there for her to be angered with her wicked expressive best friend, whom she considered as her sister? They may come from different families, but they were born on the same day and same hour.. They were almost like twins, except.. Not by blood or in physical attributes. But even with those two differences of theirs, Aniera still thought of Eden as her sister. Her other kin - her mother, father, and aunt - were all killed, two of them by trials, but her father just mysteriously disappeared, only to be found dead near the creek.. The memory was still very vivid to Aniera, but she refrained from completely bringing it back. After all, she didn't need sympathy at the moment.. And knowing Larkin, that raven would do anything to get her spirits up, but oftentimes he ended up pissing her off even more which was never good.

When Eden at last responded, Aniera held back a laugh as the girl rolled up her sleeves and doing the classic maneuver that all the mindless people refer to as the "witch's pose". Of course, Aniera failed to hold back laughter. "Oooh! Babayaga has returned to kidnap little children and eat them!" She spoke in a playfully mystifying yet eerie voice, letting out her perfect wicked witch cackle. Oh yes, Aniera could do that cackle. Who would've thought such a young lass like her being able to do an old hag's laugh? Aniera was proud of it! It was very useful when she was looking to make her other witch friends howl with laughter or when she was aiming to frighten a child or a passing Catholic. It never failed! The only being in the world that seemed to be resistant to her cackle was Lucifer.. Well, then again, he doesn't even interact with her and Eden unless he has a new task for them..

"You're welcome deary. And do refrain from sabotaging the cabin. I've already had to move out from two previous cabins, and I don't think that Old Nick would appreciate it if I wasted any more time moving to a different cabin.." She murmured, lowering her voice even more when she spoke the Devil's sobriquet.. Larkin ruffled out his feathers, about to get comfortable on Aniera's shoulder when the white-blonde-haired girl suddenly stepped forward while making an abrupt noise, sending him fluttering away with squawks of outrage and terror. He instead settled onto one of the vases in the corner of the room, ruffling out his feathers and giving an avian hiss at Eden, clearly displeased. Aniera arched a brow at Larkin and rolled her eyes. "Useless pigeon, I tell you.. I was hoping to get a much more.. bodacious creature for a minion.." She muttered under her breath with a crestfallen sigh, directing her lime-green gaze back to Eden.

At her excuse for knocking down her door, Aniera snorted and waved it off in a playful manner. "Sure, sure, sure. Stomping right up to the door and deciding to knock it down as a matter of release and to cure ennui was the perfect solution to your.. predicament." She uttered with a smirk, chuckling as Eden emphasized her point and shook her head. That was Eden.. Same as ever, always planting some form of a smile upon Aniera's lips. The only other times Aniera ever smiled in any way was when she was seducing a man to do her dirty work without exposing herself, or when she was having one of her triumphant moments, which she, by the way, has quite often! She always manages to accomplish something, whether it be terrorizing a small village or whooping a bunch of imbeciles in the rear. At Eden's criticism of her attempted magick lock, Aniera wrinkled her nose, scowling a bit. "Bah! A normal witch our age wouldn't have been able to even conjure the weakest of locks! I believe I deserve some credit for my.. attempt." She huffed in a mockingly offended way, crossing her arms.

As soon as Eden mentioned making a sedative that would kill in large doses, Aniera felt a chill settle upon them, making goosebumps rise along her skin, in a good way of course. "Ah.." She breathed, running a hand through her hair as she kept her eyes trained on Eden.. The girl looked as though she had something more to say. Tilting her head ever so slightly to the side, Aniera listened to Eden speak.. Aniera blinked once, taking in the information that was given to her. The Church was enlisted in hunters? Fools.. They think that having hunters on their tails would stop them from doing what they do? Bah, it'll be close to impossible for those pathetic Catholics to even find their trail, but they may find other witches, unless they somehow pinpoint the two Servants.. Aniera was about to ask Eden how many hunters were enlisted when a sudden wave of energy hit her, knocking the air from her lungs, but her body showed no other signs of impact. She merely stood there, breathless, arm placed upon the wall to prevent her from collapsing onto her knees. Soon enough, her side was burning, right where her mark was.. Drawing in a hiss, Aniera placed her other hand on her side and looked over her shoulder at the mantle where the dream-catcher in the shape of a pentagram started to glow vibrantly, pulsing a crimson light. Aniera swallowed thickly, sensing the heaviness in the atmosphere.

Clearly, Lucifer wanted her, or both of them, to head into town and investigate. Aniera didn't appreciate this task at all, no matter how desperate she had been moments ago to receive one.. She regretted her wishes to be granted another mission that would surely kill her if she isn't careful enough. Though she was a Servant and much harder to take down than a normal witch, a hunter with rowan wood, silver blades or holy water would surely capture her if he suspects her of being a witch... Aniera didn't want to go near that town yet, but it was the Devil's clear order. "Great.. I think one of us is going to have to go into town to investigate.. And the other is going to have to make that sedative, since it'll definitely be helpful.." She murmured lowly, casting a glance back over at the pentagram, and this time, it wasn't glowing, but it still radiated power.

Calcifer could recall the memory of the last image he'd ever seen from his very own eyes. He had been standing out in a field with his mother, taking a simple stroll to allow the time to pass by. Even nine years later, Calcifer could recall the alluring aroma that was wafted to him by the delicate wind from the flowers that produced it, the sound of rustling leaves up on their branches as the trees whispered to one another.. Even the small drones that fluttered from flower to flower were still lodged in the farthest corner of Calcifer's memory. Not a single thought from that day was forgotten, for that was the last day that sight was still within his grasp. Once he had gone to sleep and awakened the next morning, his sight was gone without a trace..

Sighing heavily, Calcifer walked along the path carefully, trying his best to avoid any passerby with the assistance of Pascal and Angelus, who were both doing their usual tasks: warning him of any obstacles and guiding him through them. He managed to step over a slightly elevated portion of the ground and evade a barrel that had been in his path, and for once, he didn't trip over anything. Just as he thought he was going to have a smooth journey home, he felt someone run into him, which partially startled him. Giving a grunt at the impact, Calcifer took a step or two back, positioning his walking stick back on the ground while he stared directly ahead of him, blinking slowly. A screech from Angelus notified him that whoever had run into him hadn't meant to. Pascal, however, wasn't so quick to conclude that the man, Caspar, accidentally bumped into Calcifer. The Samoyed trotted over to Casper, sniffing at him before ruffling out his coat, barking once before returning to Calcifer's side, licking the blind boy's hand.

Calcifer, though he hated himself for being blind, should be thankful that he still had sharp hearing! At the man's apology, Calcifer merely nodded his head once, showing that he accepted his apology. "No worries, sir. No harm was done." He responded in his rich, deep voice, lifting one of his hands and running them through his hair. For a man of few words, Calcifer did have a voice! Unfazed by their recent collision, Calcifer brushed himself off a bit, letting out a breath before rolling his shoulders back, his shoulder blades popping a couple of times. God, he was stiff from last night's shift.. Then a question popped into Calcifer's thoughts. "Do you by any chance know if there have been any witch sightings lately? I understand if you know nothing of this, but for the past few nights I haven't captured a single sign of any witches, which is odd.." Calcifer spoke once more, reclining his head back and peering up at the sky, for no real reason really - blind, remember?

Usually, there would be a witch sighting at least once every two nights.. Now it has been about four nights since Calcifer last captured a sighting of a witch. The town was relieved, but Calcifer was unsettled. Not once had the routine of the witches changed.. They would strike at least once every two days or each day.. But Calcifer heard over the town's gossip that the Church was finally enlisting hunters, which was a good thing, considering the fact that the hunters were specially trained with weapons that would prove to be effective against witches. The tactics that those hunters knew.. They would be able to end the bloody war between the people and the witches. Calcifer wasn't sure if the witches would be terminated or left to live as they pleased, but far from civilization.. Truly, Calcifer had no point of view in this feud. He didn't really care what either did, just as long as there was peace, he didn't care what was out there..

| | Blah, slight writers block for Calcifer.. Having a blind character is rather difficult, but fun! xD | |

BLINKING IN WEARY AGREEMENT...

...Eden gave a heavy sigh before leaning against the closed door. She could tell that Aniera was just as bone-tired and worn as she was. Perhaps more so. Eden had been living in constant fear for the majority of her life here, and she couldn't just walk away. These people deserved to be punished, although Eden could understand their logic. But while she did understand, that did not mean she would sit back and let them stake her or stack stones on her live body until she suffocated or burn alive in front of an angry crowd. It would be humiliating, not to mention terrible and excruciating. Eden's body gave a small shiver before turning back to Aniera with some veiled panic reflected in her eyes. While Eden might've been abrasive, rude, impetuous, and scores of other things, fearless and strong she was not. In fact, the only reason she'd ever do something is out of pride of her image -- and if she was sure she'd not die in the end. But in this situation, one slip up could mean the end for either of them.

Still, if it was just an outing to the city...Eden shrugged a bit, not really wanting to go but not wanting to seem like a coward, not even to Aniera, who might as well have been a sister to Eden, and more close than any family member she had ever had. "I guess I could go," Eden finally muttered, albeit a bit unwillingly. She flickered her gaze to the floorboards, suddenly very interested in the woodwork of the panels. After a small stretch of silence, Eden cleared her throat and said, "Actually,"

"...I WOULDN'T MIND IF YOU CAME ALONG."

FLUSTERED AND UNCOMFORTABLE...

...Caspar shifted his weight between his two legs as the blind man stood himself up easily and with ease. Caspar would've offered to help, but he felt that would seem presumptuous. He simply watched awkwardly as the man sighed and glanced up at the sky. Caspar on instinct also looked up but found nothing of interest up in the air. Frowning, he turned back to the man, who was still staring upwards. Well, he was blind, so there might not have been anything there to begin with, after all.

"Witch sightings?" Caspar repeated with some surprise. Well, what did he expect? Just because the man was blind didn't mean that he was deaf. There were plenty of rumors about witch sightings -- some more than just whispers.

"Not lately," Caspar shrugged, unconcerned, although of course Calcifer couldn't see him. He didn't really mind that the witches hadn't been seen. That either meant that they were in hiding -- in which case they would have to show themselves sometime or later -- or they had ran, which meant good riddance. Caspar didn't want those sort of women in his town -- or anywhere, for that matter, but this town was more immediate, Caspar supposed.

"I wouldn't let it concern you, sir," Caspar continued. "I'm sure we'll see them eventually. I'm Caspar, by the way. Caspar Alexander. It's nice to meet you." For a moment Caspar was tempted to hold out a hand but refrained from doing so. That would've been...

...AWKWARD.

Aniera could feel the seconds drag on, as though some dark force had gotten time into its grip and was now constricting it, making it's pace slow.. She swore she heard the ticking of her grandfather clock diminish in speed. The tension in the air was also making her feel slightly sick to the gut. This wasn't a new sensation to Aniera. Actually, she felt this sort of thing constantly. That only happened when her master was awaiting her response to his request.. So if she didn't respond to him, to confirm that she was going to head to town, he might actually bring her some severe misfortune or punish her in a way.. Aniera shuddered, not at all wanting to experience any more misfortune.. The past couple of times she's had those bad incidences, as a result of Lucifer's little charm of misfortune, have left her always alert, making sure to reply to him at once before he would get angered.. She needed to confirm that she was going..

She lifted her head so she can look over at Eden, awaiting some sort of response from the girl. When at last Eden at least shrugged, Aniera nibbled on her lower lip absentmindedly, glancing over her shoulder at the pentagram. Aniera sure as hell was more than capable of being bodacious enough to strut straight into town.. She could even do a little dance to down if she wanted to! But the one deadly flaw that Aniera had when she's around normal humans: she exposes herself easily. She doesn't know how to keep herself concealed.. She's tried dyeing her hair, acting like the average woman, but people always found ways of finding out her true identity.. If she was ever going to go into town, she wanted someone trusted with her to help her keep low.. She would feel much more secure if she had someone at her side.

Aniera sighed softly and looked up at Eden as the girl spoke unwillingly, making her tilt her head to the side ever so slightly, crimson locks cascading along her shoulders. Once Eden cleared her throat and spoke again, Aniera gave a nod. "We'll both go then.." She said affirmatively, and immediately felt the heaviness lift itself from the air, and she could at last breath normally. "We can take Maximus along to get to the outside of town and then leave him out of town to possibly not raise suspicion.. And let's hope that Bloody Irina won't cast her plaguing spell while we're in town.." She muttered under her breath, moving to take her cloak from her hanger, which looked harmless.. She still felt uneasy, knowing that there were now hunters in town.. Larkin gave a cry and fluttered down onto her shoulder, ruffling out his feathers. "Larkin.. You'll be staying here.. Last time you came with me to town I had a man aim his gibbs rifle at me." She hissed at the raven and swatted him away, muttering a curse under her breath.

Calcifer wondered why he even asked the man that question.. He could have just been on his way back home.. Ack, now he has to pay the price for not being able to contain his question. Not that Calcifer didn't like the man, but he was just eager to get back home after a long night shift.. But he could spare a few seconds to have a few words with the man that had bumped into him. Calcifer felt Pascal lick his hand, the dog giving a huff before plopping down onto his haunches beside him. Calcifer blinked as a dry wind blew straight at his face, making him squint for a few moments before he managed to blink away the remaining discomfort in his eyes. He may be blind, but his eyes did occasionally hurt or feel burned by the wind.. He just couldn't see with them..

As the man responded, Calcifer gave a nod, running his hand through his hair. "This is not good at all.. They must be planning something.." He murmured to no one in particular, but his voice was pretty audible. While he pondered for a few more moments, he heard the man introduce himself as Caspar Alexander, and Calcifer remained silent for a few more moments before he responded. "The name's Calcifer Prideaux.. The blind man, in other words.. A pleasure to meet you, Caspar." Calcifer nodded as he spoke, blinking once more as he felt the familiar feel of talons digging into his shoulder as his falcon, Angelus, fluttered down and perched on his shoulder, nuzzling his jaw with his beak.

"I should head back home very soon.. I don't want to waste any more of your time. Farewell, Caspar." Calcifer then said quickly as he started to walk off again, having heard one of his sister's shouting out his name farther down the town street. He knew that if he didn't get to her she will throw another tantrum like she did the previous day.. He even got hit in the head with a skillet. His eldest sister was exactly like a strict mother.. Especially towards him.. Eh.. Calcifer soon made it home and his sister pulled him inside at once...

HOLDING BACK A SIGH...

...of relief, Eden watched patiently as Aniera got ready. Already in a cloak and equipped with some weaponry, already, Eden had nothing else to change into anyway. She absentmindedly fingered her dart throwers under her thick sleeves. While Aniera might be comfortable using magic, Eden herself never had much of a talent for it. Sure, she can cast spells and her potion making is nothing to sneeze at, but in a battle she likes to depend on more concrete things, like her weapons, or her fists. For some reason depending on something that spews of her fingertips didn't seem like much of a smart move. It felt unstable to her. Uncontrollable. While she might not seem like it, what with her reckless antics and all, Eden valued consistency. She tended to stick with things she knew would work. Anything else, especially when it was during a pivotal moment, was a stupid move to her. No, she would leave the fancy work to Aniera. After all, she was better at it, Eden had to admit half - grudgingly. She wasn't going to lie: sometimes she was envious of Aniera's "witchiness".

"That sounds like a good idea," Eden nodded idly, glancing around to see if she could see the black stallion. She herself had little patience or remembrance to take care of a pet. It took all of her self - control to deal with Nevermore. Eden mentally snorted. She must've been in a really bad mood to name her minion "Nevermore." She could barely remember the day anymore, anyway. Oh, well.

"Will we both fit on Maximus?" Eden continued. She was sure that Aniera knew full well that Eden didn't have a horse. "Otherwise, I can go in after you. We'll look less conspicuous if we go in separately. And we attract enough attention as it is," Eden muttered, running a hand through her short, white hair. On afterthought, she pulled up the hood on her cloak. While she hated having such a restraint and weight on her head, Eden knew that it was worth it.

"I suppose Nevermore can be a scout," Eden mused to the floor. At the sound of her voice, Nevermore hopped forward and presented herself to Eden. Eden stroked the albino raven's feathers, saying, "The sky is rather gray, today. She'll be fine." Even as she said it, Eden gazed into the raven's eyes. For a moment between them there was a feeling of complete understanding, and Eden felt as if she could take off and fly right then and there. The sensation didn't last long, however. She was only going for a vision connection. Now she could see what Nevermore did with the blink of her eye. Calling forth Nevermore's images, Eden saw herself with eyes that were flat and dark, like some sort of animal's ... or a raven's. Dear Lord, she was huge. Bringing back her own vision, Eden spotted Nevermore also testing out Eden's vision, and Eden felt a familiar prickle behind her eyes.

"I'm ready," Eden told Aniera, standing up to her full length and smirking a little at Aniera's curses. Nevermore fluttered onto Eden's shoulder, and she resisted rolling it in response to the new weight. The dig of Nevermore's talons bothered her, but not as much as they did the first few times. Before it was rather painful.

NOW IT WAS MORE OF AN ANNOYANCE.

FROWNING...

...Caspar listened to the man's musings. It was true that the witches were silent for a while, and the man was right to be concerned. At the moment, however, Caspar thought it would be best to enjoy the silence. Yes, the witches were probably brewing some sort of plan, but they had no idea where to track them down, so there was nothing more they could do. Caspar disliked worry about the future, especially when he couldn't do anything to change it.

"It's nice to meet you," Caspar nodded in greeting, although of course Calcifer couldn't see it. Caspar felt slightly uncomfortable around the blind man simply because he had never really interacted with those with such handicaps, and while he couldn't see Caspar couldn't help feeling Calcifer knew exactly what was going on.

"It's never a waste of time to talk," Casper shrugged, "but goodbye. I hope to speak to you, again." Caspar watched Calcifer's receding back as he strolled down the path, and spotted a calling woman that seemed to be shouting Calcifer's name. Shrugging, Caspar turned and continued down the pathway to the town, the sky...

...BECOMING A STORMY GRAY.

Hunter || Male || 18 || Single || In: Church || Talking To: God, Inn owner || Feels: Tired

Isaac, having gotten the information from the man and letting him go, walked through the town to a small building. It wasn't really small but when traveling Isaac had seen a lot of things and he had seen plenty of bigger churches. He was thankful for the simplicity however. All the stained glass windows were beautiful of course but he felt they were too flashy for his liking.

He walked to a seat in the middle of the church and got on his knees. He bent his head down, locked his fingers, and put his hands up to his head. Slowly he began to murmur the prayers he had learned as a child. "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, If I shall die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take."

These were children's prayers of course but it was something that reminded him of home. The prayer was rather dismal however. Who would like to think of dieing in their sleep? But there always was a possibility. If a witch or someone who is friends with the witches finds a hunter in their town it would be dangerous to think of what could happen. He might just die in his sleep. His job isn't an easy one but life hasn't been easy either.

Isaac ran his fingers through his oak brown hair before continuing to pray to god. After about 10 minutes, Isaac had gotten up and dusted off his knees. He then put two of his fingers to his head, bringing them to his chest then to both his shoulders murmering "In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit. Amen." He then walked out of the church to a post where he had tied his horse onto. It wasn't raining yet, only showering. Isaac dug his boots into the horses side and the horse immediately began walking for the big building that meant inn. Isaac dug into his pockets and checked how much money he had. It would probably be enough.

Isaac stopped at the front of the inn and tied his horse to another post. He headed inside and was greeted by a warm fire and a large smiling man. He payed the man for room and board for a week and went outside to put his horse in the stables. He went inside glad that he wasn't soaked to the bone yet. He had only payed for a week because that was how long it usually took to take down a witch but who knows how long this would last.

It wasn't night yet thankfully so Isaac had some time to spare. He didn't plan witch hunting until tomorrow because his horse and he needed a break from that. Isaac walked outside of the inn and looked around at the houses and the buildings. It was a nice town even if it was still morning and not many people were up. He looked up as rain began to hit his forehead. He smiled and looked around at the few people who were up and about. Hearing his stomach, Isaac realized that he was hungry.

(Losing muse x.X)
The Universe is very, very big.
It also loves a paradox. For example, it has some extremely strict rules.

Rule number one: Nothing lasts forever.
Not you or your family or your house or your planet or the sun. It is an absolute rule. Therefore when someone says that their love will never die, it means that their love is not real, for everything that is real dies.

Rule number two
: Everything lasts forever.
