"The same to you, but please call me Teddy, everybody does," Natalie's dad said happily, although he was usually busying himself with clocks and watches and keeping time, he could always spare a while to talk to his daughter and her friends. "Thank you," said Natalie and Teddy at the same time, looking to each other and chuckling, "It's his shop now, but whne I'm old enough it'll be mine too," She smiled despite the urgency of the task they had ahead of them. "Dad, d'you happen to have a copy of the newspaper?" she asked him and he handed it to her then said, "Would you girls like something to eat or drink?" he asked, mainly to Skyla rather than his daughter, she knew where everything was in the house. Lee had since become more engrossed in the paper, "I think it's Iceland they've done this time, No idea how much of it, but there's been rebels all over," she muttered to herself. "Oh, and Dad?" she asked, atcually looking up from the paper, "I'm thinking of paying Sir Atticus Beverley a visit later on," she had a hidden smirk in her eyes that not even Teddy noticed. Althought she was planning to visit Sir Atticus, she was only going for information, but by the alarm in her father's eyes he had jumped to the conclusion it was for something else. After all, Atticus had been her mother's last failure at trying to get Natalie a boyfriend. "But he's a slimeball, you said so yourself, he's filthy rich and a good-for-nothing lying toad, you came home from that meeting like you do after every one, pleading with your mother and begging her to let you marry a creature instead, why on earth would you want to see him again?" said Teddy, at a rather fast pace. he was not angry with his daughter, not at all, merely bewildered, eh wanted the best for his daughter and Sir Atticus Beverley certainly wasn't the best. In fact, he agreed with his daughter, every single creature he'd ever met would be a better suitor for her than Mr Beverley. He sighed, but Natalie grinned, "Just for information that's all, about the explosion, I'm not seeing him for anything else and you know that, you heard what I said about him," she said, to put her father's mind at rest, she couldn't help but grin though, it was funny seeing him getting into a flustering rant, he was so awful at it.

"Yes, there was indeed," said Andy, agreeing with her, he hadn't raised his volume at all, yet merely changed his tone and his voice still went over that of Dylan. "Of course, I'd be more than happy to," he said, before adding, "I'm Andrew Luton, call me Andy, pleased to make your aqquaintance," he didn't offer his hand to shake, partly because he had never understood the custom but mainly because the last time he had shook someone's hand he had most unfortunetely malfunctioned slightly and given them an electric shock. He didn't want a repeat of that fateful ball again. "Of course, of course," Andy agreed, he doubted there'd be government officials in the creature sector, but with the new laws and the new jobs many of the creatures themselves had become members of the government, they lurked everywhere. He shivered through his metallic body, an odd sensation at best, and said, "I take it you have a plan?" he smiled a fraction and held the door for both Dylan and Sam.
