"P-party?" he chocked, his eyes opening widely. "Um, you can count me out." He'd never really been the social sort, and couldn't think of anything worse to do with his time, as social occasions just made him... well, awkward, really. Just the thought of being in a place with loads of people instantly made him feel grumpy, and he has no intention of being dragged along to one. After all, he'd never been that good with drinking either, so it would be highly likely he'd regret it the next morning.
He sniffed angrily at Skyla and Lee, still annoyed about his roof. Dylan had never really been bothered about the state of his house, but a caved in roof caused by a half-dragon who didn't seem the slightest bit sorry ticked him off a lot, as well as her friend. She seemed to mean it more, but he rarely forgave people, and wasn't really up to changing habits right now. He felt Sam's glare stare at him, and he knew that she wanted him to stop being so grumpy, but he didn't listen to her much. After all, when he had as a child they usually ended up in trouble, or him doing something that he would regret.
"So..." Dylan muttered. "I'm not exactly going to be hanging around that posh guy's house, so I'm all up for leaving." He didn't want to wait for anybody else, because that would mean more conversation, which would just be more hassle and more being social. Pushing past everybody else, he tried to get past, but Sam grabbed his coat and pulled him back. "It doesn't hurt to be social, Dyls." she said, ignoring his scowl.

Skyla flew around happily, preforming a small loop-the-loop just above everybody's heads.
"Oooh, a party?" she cried excitedly. "I love parties! I went to one once and it was so awesome, because there was loads of food and then I got to do some flying tricks. But I crash landed and it was awkward and I haven't really been to one since, because I was only a little kid at the time." It was true, because ever since she had run away at the tender age of eleven she'd never really had a chance to go to a party, and was actually quite looking forwards to it, since it would be a way to entertain herself. Glancing over at Andy, Sam and Dylan, she smiled. "Ohhaidere, I'm Skyla." she said, in a mixture of excitement and trying to be social, completely refracting the coldness coming from that direction. "Pleased to meet you." She tried to execute a perfect landing, but missed slightly, landing in a rose bush. She jumped up quickly, brushing the leaves off. "I hope that Atticus fella doesn't notice." she muttered, glancing at the house.
