Skyla gave a cough, and sniffed. She didn't have a cold, and instead felt rather... annoyed with this posh bloke in front of her, he thought. Although, truth be told, he was giving out quite a lot of information which could be useful. "That sounds bad, man." she said, listening to what he had to say, then suddenly coughed again. It was probably best if she didn't talk, although she really couldn't help it. At times, Skyla could take a lot to be completely silent, and now was one of them.
Her mind was buzzing with all sorts of thoughts, which made her all giddy. If she was with people she knew, she would be all dramatic about it, since it was one of her talents, overdoing things. If she wasn't so keen on flying, Skyla would have probably made an excellent melodramatic actress, and had considered for a short bit. However, she wasn't that bothered, and continued being her self, looking around eagerly like a hyperactive toddler.
As Sir Atticus carried on, everything seemed to sound bad. He explained about how London was at risk, which worried Skyla slightly. That's just great, isn't it? she contemplated, thinking of ways that she would like to get rid of this overly posh man in front of her, who was obviously causing her friend a lot of grief.

Sam stopped when she saw Andy, and gave a small smile. "Right, shall we get moving, then?" she asked, keen to go. At least he was a distraction to stop her arguing with Dylan, she thought. It was a sort of thing they had between each other. Like sibling rivalry, really, and the fact they knew each other really well. She began walking down the road, and carried on until she finally reached the house a couple of streets away. Instantly she was in awe at the size of it, compared to hers.
"And here we are." she said. "Where all the humans live, and like to look down on us all." she knew she was in the human area of London, so looked around cautiously in case anybody seemed to be walking by. None, it seemed, and she leaned against the fence, waiting for the others to catch up.
