Josh gets up and walks back to the throwing knives. He was conferable here he new his best chance was throwing knives, but he remembered what his mentor said "get water and food first, it will bw more important then any weapon." He nodded to himself picking up the knives and practicing close range hits.

Briar looked to her mentor. "I need some sort of advice for the games, Melanie," she said.

Melanie sighed. "The most important supply is food and water. Weapons are important too, so get the backpack. They have a knife, a water canteen, and some sort of snack, like biscuits. If you're not good with knives, there are very few bows and arrows. You do those best, so get them. But there's a risk. They're in the cornucopia. The backpacks are around the cornucopia. Others may try to kill you when inside the cornucopia. Don't be afraid, just move quickly. There's also animals you can hunt, and then you can roast them over a fire. Shelter is hard to find, but there are many different places. There are treetops, which don't provide much but sometimes keeps you hidden, and deep holes in the ground. You have to make sure that when you're in these holes, you can come out. You don't want yourself to be stuck in a hole with other tributes about," Melanie said.
