Life at Oakland Boarding School (Action/Romance RP)

Ella jumped into his car and sat quietly, thinking about everything and holding teh neclace Karver gave her, it was starting to become a subconscious habit for her and each time she touched it a smile came across her lips slightly.

Karver watched her for a moment. He smiled and started driving back to the school, "Was that a good surprise?" he asked her. He turned the music dow so it was just background noise.

Ella smiled sadly, "I can't really say, I haven't had a good surprise in a long time. It definitely wasn't a bad surprise so I guess taht makes it good then..." She fell into silence and bit her lip slightly, hoping she hadn't upset Karver by not saying it was good. "It was the best surprise I've had in a long time..." she said quietly, looking down, knowing what she said was true.

Karver nodded but didn't say anything. He didn't look over at her and drove to the school in silence. He sighed and parked his car.

Ella rested her hand on Karvers, "What's wrong?" She asked looking up at him with a torn expression, she didn't want to lie to Karver but she didn't want to give him false hope either, my life may not be as hard as his is now, but it was still pretty bad... she thought biting her bottom lip and tightening her grip on his hand, willing herself not to cry.

"It's nothing." Karver said without looking at her. He slipped his hand out of her grip and got out of the car. He shoved his hands in his pockets before walking back to the school.

Ella quickly opened her door and scrambled out of the car, "It's not nothing Karver," She said simply after she had rushed to catch up to him. Grabbing his shoulder forcidly she turned him round to face her, "What is it?" She asked.

"Don't worry about it." Karver told her. He jerked his shoulder away from her and continued walking. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"You are kidding me aren't you," She asked raising her eyebrows. "After all that," She gestured towards his car, "It's 'nothing'? What now Karver, just tell me for once without all this at the side!" She began to get annoyed and almost bit off the end of her last statement in frustration.

"I don't know what to do. I have tried so hard to make everything perfect and you can't even give me an answer to a simple question." Karver said as he turned to face her. He was tired of trying to please her all the time.
