"You know how I am about things like this. And I know you know the answer to that question." Jax told her. He looked down and his hair covered his eyes. Hiding all of his emotions. He didn't want to hurt her like this. He loved her to much. She saved him from so many mistakes he could have made.

Randy sighed. "So please explain why you didn't just tell me the truth. You know I could have handled it." She looked up at him.

"I don't want to believe it myself. it was a stupid mistake and saying it out loud just makes it all the more...I don't know. This isn't the way I wanted to treat you. I didn't want to hurt you so much." Jaxon said. He opened her door but paused. he set the necklace next to her, "Please. I want you to keep it." He shut the door behind him as he left and went back to his room.

Randy took the necklace in her hand. She put it down on her desk before running out of her room. "Jax! JAX!" She called to him.

Jax turned around, "Randy, what?" He walked up to her and sighed. He hugged her and stepped back, "Please don't say what I think you are going to say."

Randy looked up at him. "Please. Do tell me what I'm going to say." She was curious as to what he thought she would say.

"I don't want to hurt you anymore. I can't be friends with you either." Jaxon told her. It hurt him to say those words to her and he stepped back. He hadn't said what he thought she would say. He just answered it in a roundabout way.

Randy looked up at Jax. "So don't hurt me anymore. It's really quite simple." She didn't think she could be friends with Jax either. She loved him, and not in a friends way. Randy just hoped he was willing to make an effort. Because if he didn't, she was leaving.

"I will try once more. I really don't get why you still love me. I hate myself right now." Jax told her. He kissed her softly and wrapped his arms around her, not letting her answer.

Randy smiled when she pulled back. "All it takes is some effort." She leaned in and hugged him, glad to have him back.
