Alana loved every minute of she was with Alec. She didn't want to pull away but she wanted to ask something so she pulled away for a minute. "Should we tell people about us being together? I don't want it to be secret but I don't want everyone to know." she said softly, leaning back into kiss him.

Alec paused for a moment. "I'm not going to be the boyfriend who only does what his girlfriend says and has no life, but I'm not going to take control of our relationship either. You know people here. I don't so it's your decision on this one. I think we should tell Ella though." He then kissed her oon the nape of the neck and traced his finger along her collarbone before kissing her lightly on the lips again.

Devin dragged his feet towards the library, even though he should do catch up work, he felt tired and didn’t have much motivation right now to handle studying. He watched as a few other students walked past him, sighing at their smiling faces. I wish I could be naturally happy like them, he mumbled before shaking the negative thoughts away and moving over to a window, gazing out at an old oak tree. He spotted a girl wrapped in plaster, staring up at a tree. He didn't know what she was doing but it seemed to be something fun, as she smiled and sat back down. Devin bit his lip as he thought, maybe I should study outside and try make some new friends, it would make my time here better. He walked over to the door he entered before and pushed on it, smiling as the warm rays of light were let in a touched his skin. Slowly walking over to the tree, he started to worry. What if this girl doesn't want me to hang around...? Maybe I can just say hi and if she gives me the look, I'll just keep walking past and study somewhere else. He started to plan in his head, to busy thinking so when he looked up he noticed the girl right in front of him. He blushed instantly and forced a friendly but worried smile at her. "Oh uhm... Hi?" He stuttered out, his voice shaking as he looked at the girl. She was cute but he had to remember he wasn't here for friends of girlfriends, he had to study.

Ella was in her own world when a guy came up in front of her. He called out and she broke out of her daze. "Hi." She smiled up at him in a friendly way. "Are you new here? I'm Ella." She then laughed and added. "You look so awkward sit down!" She patted the spot next to her and smiled again.

Devin smiled back softly and nodded, "Yea... I am new, I just came in today" he told Ella, sitting down and biting his lip nervously, a little taken back by her laugh, but knew she was just being friendly, "I'm Devin. It's nice to meet you Ella. You're the first person I've meet so far". He looked up at the sky, holding onto his school books. "Sorry if I'm bothering you. It's just... I was wondering what you were doing. I saw from inside when you were looking up at the tree. You're pretty active for an injured person" he noted and looked up at the tree, squinting slightly, not wanting to get his glasses out to help him see better because he didn't want to come off as a hardcore nerd, "Is something up there?"

Ella laughed again. "well I can see a lot of leaves up there.." She joked smiling back at Devin. "I was looking up at the tree because when I get my arm out of this cast I'm going to climb it." She smiled broadly at him and patted the tree again. "You should join me!" She laughed looking at him critically.
