Ghost whines and licks Axel's face. Her skin is even paler than usual and her eyes seem glazed over. Demyx looks at Yu. "No, Yu. We don't have emotions. We don't have hearts."

"Would Genesis have a pulse? Axel's heart has been stopped for over 10 years. And she hasn't aged. Neither have we." Saix mutters. Demyx looks at the pool of silver blood surrounding Axel. "Is she breathing?" Axel's chest rises and falls slightly, showing she is breathing, but her pupils are tiny pinpricks in a sea of sapphire blue.
