Saix returns with a large stone and a painting. "What's the picture of?" Axel asks, trying to keep her emotions hidden. Saix shows it to her. "It's a portrait. You asked me to paint it for Reno for his next birthday..." The painting is a portrait of Reno and Axel smiling. Axel chokes. "Get it away from me!" She shouts, tears streaming down her face.

Wash walks over to Axel. "Calm down." He tells her soothingly.

The Meta watches, and North's eyes grow wide under his helmet.

[Party Poison.]

"Calm down? CALM DOWN?! How can I 'calm down'?! My brother is in a hole in the ground! My life just shattered!" Axel starts hyperventilating. "If I never would have loved, than I never would have cried! Friendship causes nothing but pain!" Saix looks down. "Axel, please don't do this." He touches her shoulder. Axel grabs his wrist and holds him off the ground. Her eyes glow madly.

(Why do I find the song Scarborough Fair strangely fitting for this event?)

The Meta growls lowly.

"Axel!" Wash yells, and North catches on that Axel going a little bit insane.

Yu turns around and spots Sakura.

"Axel, calm d-" Axel snarls an throws him into a tree. "I know what you did..." She moves towards him jerkily, like a puppet. Saix groans and tries to stand up.

Yu turns back around. She screams, "AXEL!" She grabs her arm.

Gen stayed motionless and blue-eyed until a strong hand clutches Axel's shoulder, almost cutting circulation from her arm.

Axel snarls and turns towards the person grabbing her. Saix limps towards her. "Axel, please calm down!"
