Alyssa soon found herself in the square with the kids that looked around her age,she saw a strange looking lady that just came in from the capitol,she stood in front of the microphone and introduced them "Welcome!,As usual we will start with the girls first" she says with a smile...How can she smile like that? she thought as the lady's hand rummaged through the glass bowl she picked out a slip and flattened it out she crossed over to the microphone and took a deep breath before annoucing the tribute "Alyssa Dobreve" she calls out the peacekeepers grab each of her arms and escort her to the stage.her heart plummeted she was going to die...she thought

Hayden got there right before they started to announce the girl. He got to his spot just as they said the girl's name. He turned and looked as he saw her being escorted to the stage. He laughed to himself. Did they really expect to escort the guy as well? If they called his name, they would have another thing coming. He waited for her to call out the male tribute. He crossed his fingers. HE was probably the only one excited to go. All the others were praying silently that it was someone else.

Alyssa stood off to the side of the stage "Any volenteer's?" the lady called.Nobody replied...The lady continued and then rummaged through the boy's bowl he called out a random guy's name the guy prepared to walk up to the stage

Hayden listened for the next tribute's name being called. She walked to the boys' glass ball with a horrible Clack! Clack! Clack! of her ugly heels. She drew the name then walked back to the microphone. Clack! Clack! Clack! Screech! Hayden frowned as the speakers screamed. He head his lucky necklace around his neck and waited. "And the new boys' tribute is...." She opened the paper. All the guys heald their breath. Hayden prayed it was him. "Hayden Parks!" She said his name and Hayden smiled. The Peacemakers came forward to get him but he pushed them away. "I can walk myself morons!" He marched up the stairs and stood by Allysa.

Alyssa looked over to the new boy tribute she listened to the mayor blab on and on about the origin of the 12 districts and how they came to be once he was done speaking their mentor appeared and sat on the chairs the lady made them shake hands to show peace.Alyssa cautiously held out her hand for him to shake

Selene looked around the others as the lady walked across to the girls ball, "Selene White." She called. Selene's face stayed calm as she walked up to the stage and looked out, she knew her dad was going to be heartbroken since she was the last thing left of her mother.

Sirius watched quietly as the girl was choosen then waited as she walked to the guys ball, "Sirius Silver." She called though his last name was drowned out by a scream as he calmy started forward, the crowd parted as his twin sister grabbed him tightly after running for him, "I know what im doing sis. Let go." He said calmy as he kissed her cheek and his older brother came through and grabbed his twin. He walked up and stood quietly as the mayor started talking, his eyes trained on his twin who his older brother and sister were both holding to them.

Hayden turned out most of what the mayor said. He knew it all by heart. Then the lady told the tributes to turn and shake hands. He gently shook the girl's hand and studdied her. She didn't look like much but I'm sure that she was more than meets the eye. He gave her a friendly smile though he mixed some shiness in. He worked on it for months and most girls went crazy over it.

Alyssa studied his figure He was sure to win...she thought to herself as she gripped his hand and shook it as the lady told her.She didn't fall for his petty act she just shot a blank look and let the Peacekeepers escort them to the Justice building.
