Jason frowned and then pulled off his shirt, knowing that Kai would feel warmer up against his bare chest. He scooped Kai up into his arms and cradled her like a baby, his warm tan body pressing up against Kai's smaller colder body. Jason began to walk through the snow, holding Kai carefully in his arms, and headed towards an area where the snow was thinner.

HEr teeth still chattered as she wrapped her arms around him, trying to keep warm, her eyebrows furrowed. IF she fell asleep, she could slip into a coma. She strained to keep awake as they entered the woods, and she pulled out gloves from her pocket, slipping them on, and zipping up her jacket. She was wearing shorts, so it was extremely cold for her.

Jason frowned, seeing that Kai was looking terribly cold, and then walked under a large evergreen tree. He set Kai down gently and then sat down beside her, pressing up to her closely. Jason stroked Kai's head and then pulled her onto his lap, resting his chin down on her head. He rubbed Kai's back, trying to keep the girl warm.

Her teeth stopped chattering, and she warmed up a little more in the harsh weather with a whimper of fear. "It's-s-so c-cool-ld." she chattered.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Jason pulled Kai in even closer, worried that she might get frost bite, and then rubbed her harder. He stared down at Kai and then wrapped his shirt around her, in a last desperate act to keep her warm. Jason looked down at Kai's bare legs and then began to rub them, and prayed that she would be alright.

Kai's eyes slid shut shut, and gently, she drifted into unconciousness, her breath making little puffs of warmth.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Jason growled lowly, wishing Kai would stay awake, and then he bit down hard into his lower lip. He swallowed down hard and then pulled Kai closer, knowing that she was going to be ill if he didn't find a way to keep her warm. Jason closed his eyes and then drew in a deep breath, trying to get his heart racing. He sat completely still, his heart pounding up against the wall of his chest and making him allot warmer.

Kai's eyes fluttered, and she croaked, "J... ace.." And mumbled, "Let's... go...n...ow.." About two seconds in between each stop. Her cheeks were a bright red and so was her nose, making her look quite cute, but sick. "Let's... f...ind... a... ho...me.." She gave him the weakest smile.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Jason blushed slightly and then nodded slowly, knowing that Kai was right. He stood up, Kai still wrapped in his arms, and then started off again. Jason looked around and found a path through the snow, and then followed after it. He looked down at Kai and then his eyes softened, and his heart raced. Jason quickened his pace and then finally cleared the forest. Up ahead, Jason could see the distant bright lights of the city, and his heart fluttered with excitement. He raced towards the tall buildings, holding Kai up to his chest as he ran.

She handed him his shirt. "Put it on... or you'll look... suspi...cious.." She whispered, and placed her hat on snuggly, before sliding into unconciousness again.
