She blushed furiously. "I hate it when that happens."

Jason smiled slightly, his lips still pressed up against Kai's jaw. "Well I like it..." he whispered and then gently kissed Kai's neck. Jason laid his head down on Kai's shoulder and then continued kissing Kai. "Your purring is cute... And it means your happy, that's what I like the most." he said softly, and then a soft blush spread across his face.

She turned to look at him, and sighed, but gave him a soft smile. "Yeah... I guess." She mumbled, staing at the roof.

Jasn frowned and then pulled away from Kai, having heard her sigh. He stared down at Kai, and then took her face gently in his hands. Jason stared at Kai intently, worried about the girl, and then ran one hand through her hair.
"What's wrong?..." he asked softly, his voice caring but hushed. "W-was it something I said?..." Jason's ears pressed back against his head and he looked sad.

She tried to look away, but only found herself looking away with her eyes. "No." She answered blankly, rolling over breathing gently. She didn't feel like talking about it.

Jason watched Kai and then he frowned, feeling that it was his fault. He crawled away from Kai, his wounded leg dragging behind him, and then laid down in a corner of the room. Jason curled up and then looked over at Kai, sad that she wouldn't tell him what was wrong. He wanted to comfort the girl, but Kai seemed that she didn't want to be near him right now, so he just looked away.

She looked over at him, noticing how he felt and a look of dispear split across her face. "Oh Jace- I'm sorry!!" She covered her head with a pillow feeling guilty for making him feel guilty.

Jason frowned, surprised by Kai's out burst, and then stood up slowly. He walked over to Kai, but it was more like limping, and then sat down beside her. Jason gently grabbed onto Kai's hands, his own larger hands wrapped around Kai's, and then lowered the pillow from in front of her face. He stared at Kai for a long moment and then wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her in close.
"It's alright..." Jason said softly, trying to calm Kai down. "It's alright..."

She looked up at him, her eyes wide, but they softened, and she nodded. "Alright," She mumbled, laying down a little bit lighter. "I guess... I guess I'm just a little anxious, but I'm alright now." She gave him a weak smile. She looked up at him with a slight purr, and then stopped herself from purring, or at least tried to.

Jason looked down at Kai and then scratched her ear gently, knowing that she liked it. "Anxious about what?..." he asked, his eyes focused on Kai, and then his ears flickered forward. Jason tilted his head slightly to one side, his eyes still on Kai, and then ran his hand through the girls hair.
