Jasper's eyes snapped and his eyebrows furrowed, clenching his teeth as an unexplainable anger bubbled up inside him. "No!" he roared, thrusting his wrist out towards Sara. "The doctors won't help us and she won't make it anyway! Cut my wrist now before I rip off my hand with my teeth!" Jasper shouted, his eyes narrowing.

Irene grinned widely, from ear to ear. She nodded anxiously, shaking with excitement.

[DeathAngel]

"All right." Sara said simply while gently dragging her bird-like claw down Jasper's wrist, all the while biting her lip with nervousness. "What are you going to do?" she quickly asked.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Jasper winced deeply when the skin of his wrist was cut, closing his eyes briefly. He moved his bleeding wrist down to Melanie's mouth, his ears pressing back against his head. "Drink it, Melanie..." Jasper whispered softly to Melanie, tears forming in his eyes.

Sara felt her hands go back to their normal form and expose the wound in her left hand, a bullet hole, just the bullet hole. In a panic Sara quickly tore off the sleeve of her shirt and wrapped it snuggly around her hand to stop the bleeding. She apprehensively watched Melany and Jasper, hoping that they'd be okay, the three of them.

MElanie's eyes closed tightly when she tasted his blood, but couldn't push him away, and was forced to drink. She only let what she could slide down her throat, unwilling to do much more, but it wouldn't do much. She twisted her head away, knowing what would happen if he lost the liquid in his blood, having tasted it.

Jasper growled and closed his eyes, tears threatening to burst from his eyes. He raised his wrist to his own mouth and then sucked up his blood until his mouth was full. Jasper turned Melanie's face towards him, moving his head down and pressing his lips against hers. He slowly opened his mouth, allowing the blood in his mouth to trickle into Melanie's mouth.

Sara watched this happen, and felt a single tear trickle down her face.

Melanie put a hand on the side of his face, knowing that this was probably the only way she'd survived. She felt the same burn he had when it had fell on him, and her wounds, slowly healed. Although her clothes were stained with blood, she was better than ever. She drew away, and shouted, "Idiot!" unable to stop the tears that streamed down her face. She kissed him, knowing it was probably going to be the last time she did so.

Sara swiftly shoved her hands into the pockets of her jacket, grimacing as her injured hand touched the fabric. She watched the couple kiss, and smiled. She felt happy for them, that they had eachother, like Sara once had before.

Jasper cringed when Melanie shouted at him, his ears pressing back against his head. He kissed Melanie back, his eyes sliding shut. Jasper began to shrink, fur bristling up out of his skin. A large tail grew from his rump, the bushy striped tail bristling up. His face grew longer, into a muzzle. But, his transformation ceased, when he was mainly transformed into a raccoon. He was now covered in fur and had a muzzle and tail, he was now about four inches shorter than he was before. Jasper pulled his head back, looking himself over. He let out a sigh of relief, closing his eyes and clasping a hand over his bloody wrist.
