Irene glanced around nervously and her ears twitched at even the slightest noise, flickering uneasily. She looked up at Raphael and then hesitantly released his hand, walking down the hallway slowly. Irene stopped in front of an old door and then slowly pushed it open, a loud creaking sound echoing through the air. She slowly stepped inside the room, her bare feet leaving prints in the thickly covered dust floor. Irene coughed softly, the dusty air making it hard for her to breathe.
Irene looked around the room and saw a window at the opposite side of the room and noticed a woodshed bed frame in the far left corner of the room. She bit into her lower lip softly and looked down at the floor, seeing small animal prints that she could easily define as mouse tracks.
