Maria stayed in the box terrified of what would happen if she left it. She looked around for anyone to get any attention. She whined and held on to her blanket. Her brown ears twitched a bit looking at a butterfly.

Kaito saw Maria at the front of the shelter and went to get her. He opened the door and picked her up.

Jessica looked at herself."I guess I am. I haven't been in a good mood to eat lately. My wing has broken and couldn't get adopted." She sighed and sat down, sulking into the corner, remember when she was pacing.

(Neither do I.)

Maria whined and shivered slightly, holding on to the blanket. Her eyes were just as green as the blanket. She looked at the man and smiled slightly. She purred and poked his face, giggling.

Jessica looked at the male again and got back up, moving towards the front of the cage and sat down infront of it. She looked at him."I'm Jessica." She smiled, whistling.

Phoenix followed Kaito as he walked out, wagging his tail lightly. He saw the box and peeked in, his ears perked and blue eyes curious as he surveyed Maria.

I couldn`t understand her, but I felt that we could still talk. "I`m Kyle."

Maria looked at phoenix, terrified. She slowly reached out her hand but didn't touch him, in case he tried to bite her. Her ears twitched more.

"Pleasure to meet you." Jessica smiled and got up. She was tiny for her age. She stood at 5 feet exactly. She moved the cage bars out and slowly slipped out, not forcing the guy to move. She held out her hand, smiling.
