Kailyn turned, bow drawn. "Haru!" he whisper-screamed. "You scared the H*ll out of me!"

"Sorry," she mumbled, sounding funny with a plugged nose. "It's dark, and I can't see, and..." Her voice trailed off.

(Okay, well, Kai and Haru are on the way to a store to get muffins. x3 And Haru is staying until someone posts, so I guess tomorrow she shall return to the house x3)

Kailyn twined his fingers around hers, looking at her through the now-fallen darkness. He could only see her eyes shimmering from the fullmoon. "Haru, we have to get back." he said, hearing a deep, sad moaning growing louder and louder.

Haru's face blushed in the moonlight, and she looked down to hide it, even if it was too dark to tell. "Without the muffins? But, Kai-" Her voice faltered, and she looked over her shoulders fearfully. Well, this was a bad idea. She turned back to him, trying to swallow her fear, and nodded. Blood was trickling down her nose and smearing her lips, but she had forgotten about it at the sound of moaning.

Kailyn nodded. He tried not to jerk her forward, but he took off toward the soft, warm light of the cabin. "Hurry!" he said, afraid to release her hand.

Haru skipped after him, feeling a smooth hand reaching out for hers. She jerked it away, and walked faster, her breath becoming jagged.

Kailyn ran into the cabin, pulling Haru in, and sighed with relief. "We made it." he whispered, breathing rapidly.

Haru sat down and yawned. "We didn't even get muffins," she sighed, whiping blood from her nose.
