Tony turned to her and took her hand. "The start of a Revolution, remember?" He smiled at Rulie, staring warmly into her beautiful green eyes. "Both of us made it out." Then he looked at Velvet, smiling to her too. "And we have Velvet! How you feelin', Dr. Textiles?"

[Gui-Chi]

"I feel like I need a cup of tea" Velvet replied, smiling happily "A nice warm sugary cup of tea"

Tony nodded. "Tea sounds good, but if you live in the poorer districts, the only drinks we get are nasty water, black coffee, or whatever we make ourselves... And in my town, we are too busy working to go buy fresh vegetables and make tea out of them." After a long pause, he added, "So yes, I'd like a cup of warm, sugary tea." He laughed.

Velvet frowned "Why don't you just get the clean water from the pumps then?" she asked, thinking about how Tony had commented on nasty water. "As long as it's kept clean the waters fine"

"We get water from the creeks, rainwater, or we have to buy it from the Peacekeepers. We don't have water pumps. Everything is polluted in District 9, including the ground water." Tony shrugged, but continued smiling, nothing able to spoil his good mood. "We'll all get healed, and then we can go home!"

[Freedom~Tonight]

"Home." The word Rulie had never dared say formed on her lips. He green eyes were shining and not only that but it looked as if stars had settled in a field of lush green grass. She looked at Tony. "Home." She repeated. She hadn't dared hope, but now it was realty. She sprung to her feet, bouncing like a innocent little child. "Home!" She squealed, springing into a leap.

Tony laughed and imitated her, also jumping like a child. "Yeah!! Home!!" Then he stopped and put his hands down, pulling a straight face like nothing at all had happened. He looked into Rulie's excited eyes and pulled her in for a kiss, no longer caring if the other tributes saw them. So far, they had only kissed when they were alone, and now here they were, alive and well... In front of Velvet and the other tributes and te rest of the world.

[Freedom~Tonight]

Rulie smiled against his lips and was lost, if only for a moment. She was still bouncung, seeming like the 13 year old she was for the first time in the arena. She cracked an eye and looked at Velvet, but didn't care. She had always windered what her mother, father, Junci, and her other four brothers had thought, but at this moment she didn't care.

Velvet sat down and hugged her knees, letting the two have some privacy. Even though spirits were high right now something seemed... Off. This wasn't a quarter quell, so what was going on? Only one of then should live at the end, so why was everyone allowed to go home. She squeezed her knees tightly, and where was Hiro? Nothing made sense right now. And she felt very, very confused.
