Rulie watched dumbfounded as the sky came crashing down, only it wasn't the sky it was the force field. She stared open mouthed, then somehow managed to snap herslef out of it and took off after Tony. She had somehow not dropped the bird and had her knife firmly clenched in one hand. She ran past a girl with a bow, but didn't stop, she just kept running after Tony, not looking back, the bird slamming against the back of her legs.

Tony sighed and slowed to a stop under the sunlight, smiling up at the sky. The real sky. He set Velvet down gently and smiled hugely when he spotted Rulie speeding through the woods with her bird. He watched the arena being swept away by the supercell tornado, hope rising up inside him. I can look for Bailey now, and as a Hunger Games survivor, who could stop me? And I have Rulie, too. Everything is perfect. With sudden realization, he said, "Where's Hiro?"

Rulie nearly slammed into Tony, she skidded to a halt and landed at his feet on her backside. "Ouch." She manadged to sputted between gasps. The bird was still clasped in her hands and she was wondering why the arean was disoving around them. "Whats..going..on..?" She gasped and slowly stood.

[Angry.Jackal]

Tony laughed a little and shrugged. "I have no idea." He looked at Velvet. "Got any ideas, Doctor?"

[Gui-Chi]

Velvet shrugged as she climbed out of her sleeping bag, luckily her pack had been stuffed in the bottom, so she still had some supplies "Dunno why this happened, but someone is going to get fired"

"Or we're all about to get shot..." Tony muttered.

[Gui-Chi]

"Well it's not our fault the arena broke" Velvet pointed out "What did we do to them to get shot?"

[Freedom~Tonight]

Rulie's mind was working. "Maybe a gamemaker really wanted to spice up the games?" She looked down at the bird, not even remembering killing it, but she must have.

[Gui-Chi]

"Then he must have been really bored" Velvet looked around the area calmly. Right now she was in a state of shock and confusion, however she didn't want to be caught off guard with anything else, so she made sure she was alert and aware

Rulie stood up on shaky legs, and looked around. She looked directly at Tony. "Did we make it out? both of us?" She hadn't dared hope for this before but now she could. She started to tremor with exhustin, worry, excitement, fear, hope.
