Ky turned his head when he saw Aeria sprinting off. He walked into the medical tent and looked at Mel,
"Mel, what did you do?" he asked.
"I don't know what you mean," she said.
Ky just looked at her. She sighed,
"I told her the truth," she said.
Ky narrowed his eyes,
"Explain," he said stiffly.
Mel sighed,
"Ky, the only thing that these people have brought us is suffering. And they haven't even been here a day! I know they're refugees and everything, but we can't have them here. No one wants them here. You can't possibly be thinking about letting them stay after this!" she said.
"Mel! Aeria is unstable. And you just made her mad enough to run off into the wilderness! With a broken leg! Are you crazy? She'll die!" he said.
"Maybe that's a good thing!" Mel yelled, "If she's crazy maybe she ought to die!"
"How can you say that?!" Ky shouted back. He sighed and ran his hand thought his hair, "I'm going to go find her. Stay here and try not to scare anyone else away."
He walked outside and climbed on June's back. He snapped the reins and they took off in the direction he'd seen Aeria running.

I ran until I couldn't anymore.i collapsed down beside a cliff. I looked down a the long drop wearily. I just wanted to fall but something stopped me...something was keeping me safe.

"Aeria?" Ky yelled, guiding June through the trees and over rocks, "Aeria?"
He growled in frustration when he turned up nothing. He dismounted and looked at the ground, trying to find tracks. He found a muddy wolf print and his eyes widened. It was fresh. He took off in the direction the tracks.
"Aeria?" he called again.

Aeira
I looked up and whimpered hearing my name "go away....everyone hates me and you probably do to....." I sighed and looked away and changed into my human form. I dangled my legs over the ede of the cliff. All I had to do was lean forward and that would be that. But...I just couldn't.

Ky sighed. He wasn't sure what to say,
"I'm not going to lie to you, Aeria. You aren't the easiest person to get along with," he said, "But really? Do you really think that everyone hates you? Mel is a b*tch, I know that. I dated her for a few months once. Trust me, she's mean to just about everyone. You shouldn't let whatever she said get to you. Now what about the people in your group? Do they hate you? Deno clearly adores you. Zorath seems to like you. Lena likes you. Daniel seems to like you. See? I don't even know these people and I just named four people who don't hate you. Five if you count me. Now you can't say that everyone hates you."

Zorath

Zorath moaned as he tried to get up. ''I need to make sure the others are ok.'' he groaned to the girl who was patching him up. ''lena? lena? are you there? how is everyone?'' he shouted. ''thanks. you probably saved mylife.'' he said quietly to the girl.

Aeira
I looked up at Ky with sad eyes. "Sure you like me,she said when you get mad you yell and if your really mad you don't talk to them. I brought my legs up to my chest and looked down. "All I have to do is just lean forward...everything would be better...."

Ky shrugged,
"That's true, but that doesn't mean I'm not mad at you. I am, and I'm mad at myself too. But at this point I don't think there's anything I can say that will make things better," he said. His eyes widened when Aeria started talking about the cliff. He reached forward and grabbed her shoulders. His touch was gentle but firm.
"Death isn't the answer, Aeria," he said softly, "If you want to stop causing people pain, then this is not the way to do it. This will only cause them more pain. Trust me on this one. I know."

Lilac

"It's my job," Lilac said softly, "You're welcome."
She ran her fingers through her curly hair and paused as if she were trying to figure out what else to say,
"Take it easy. You don't want to agrivate your wound. I'll have to check on it later to make sure it doesn't get infected." she said finally.
She turned her head as Lena approached.

Helena "Lena" Emberbloom
"And we started drowning, not like we'd sink any further..."

Lena ran over when she heard Zorath. She knelt beside him,
"Careful. You don't want to hurt yourself any more than you already have," she said. She nodded her thanks to Lilac who remained quiet. She looked back at Zorath,
"Everyone is fine. There's a good amount of tension between our group and Ky's group, but no one is fighting. They're just kind of glaring back and forth. It's pretty clear we're not welcome."

(Just tell me if you need forms for any of the people in Ky's group. :3)

I sighed and moved back "sure it is...." I stood and moved back away from the cliff. As I stood I wiped a tear away. There was no need for tears right now. I looked down sadly "do you think.....Jeck will ever forgive me?"
