Kari pushed the hood of her hoodie down., showing the scarred cheek. “Damon look at me. I’m not beautiful.” She stated, looking him right in the eye. “I’m anything but beautiful, pretty, or cute."

"Oh no." Alice shook her head. "I got in the way, he was aiming to hit you. I didn't want you hurt. But now he knows I'm alive. I can't keep running from him." Alice sighed.
