"Not all of this is formed here, some was brought. This is a very unique place." James said, he reached out to take a small red stone, as soon as he touched it he yelped in pain and leapt back.

James looked at his burnt fingertips, "Damndable soul stones." he muttered as he looked at the black gem.

"what do they do?"

"Burn anyone who is not pure of heart and soul, it is a punishment they used to have." James replied as he rubbed a scar on his neck, "They used to put someone who is believed to have commited a crime and put the stone on their thhroat, f it bruns them they are guilty."
