Kenzie didn;t look at him as she opened her wet eyes. "You..are..now.." she whispered and shivered.

Cody shook his head, "No, I"m not. Kenzie, you're the only girl I love and I love you more than anything. You know I could never do anything to hurt you." He gently moved her back against the wall when she shivered and took a blanket off an empty bed. He wrapped it around Kenzie and leaned her against him again.

Kenzie winced as he touched her. "Just..stop..Cody.." she whispered and pushed away again. She stood on her wobbly feet and blinked back tears. "I...Don't...Love...You..." she sobbed in a hurt voice. It took all she had to say that. It ripped her heart apart so much she wanted to die.

Cody gave her a sad look and shook his head, "Alright. If you don't believe me I suppose I should leave you alone." He pursed his lips, looking at the ground, holding back tears.

Kenzie felt like he had just shot her. She stumbled back as he finished and glared. "Don't think about comin back." she snapped as tears dripped from her red cheeks. Mother was right. He doesn't truly love me. He didn't even try to convince me. she sobbed in her mind as she stared at him with hurt and angry eyes.

Cody stood up and looked at her, "Kenzie, I hate to leave you like this, but I don't know what else to do. I'm willing to do whatever you want me to if it makes you happy, no matter how much it hurts me. So, I-I leave, but before I go I want you to know that I love you." He took a step forward and kissed her on the forehead, then walked towards the door. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you."

Kenzie sobbed and ran into her bathroom. He was killing her by this.

Cody turned around and walked towards the bathroom, then knocked on the door, "Kenzie, I'm so sorry that I've hurt you. Please, tell me how I can help. I can't leave you, especially not like this."

"Just go away! You've lied to me to much." Kenzie sobbed and locked the door. "Now I'm ending it." she whispered.
