Cody sighed and walked towards her.

Kenzie set the dog down and knelt. "Gods you are hansom." she purred and rubbed his ear gently.

Cody stood behind her, "Kenzie, I know where you're going. You can't do it. He'll hurt you Kenzie."

A tear dripped down her cheek. "I thought I told you to leave." she whispered.

[The Scribe]

Cody looked at the ground, "I'm sorry Kenzie, but I couldn't let you go through with this. If anything happened to you..I-I couldn't live with myself if I let anything happen to you."

Kenzie turned and looked at him. "Cody, you have to trust me that I will come back. One day we'll both leave this place and will never see each other again." she whispered.

Cody shook his head, "I can't be sure of that."

Kenzie looked away again. "I'm going Cody. No matter what you say or do."
