Jake stood outside the mansion he sighed and walked back towards it.

The namesake of the goddess of the night shrugged, not caring. "Ive been through worse Vampire." She said, sitting down to slurp her roman again.

Candra entered the kitchen and started setting out things to make an omelet.

Caius smirked softly. "We'll see about that."

"And if the negative is all you have,"
Xias asked, his eyes boring into hers.
"What do you do then?"

"Can't be, you can't always have negative. There is some positive in there, too." Zane replied. "But if you do, you get rid of it. Very easy. 8D"

Xias sighed and stood,
dropping his grip on her dainty hand.
He crossed the room and drew back a long, elegant curtain,
then stared at the world beyond.
Autumn was such a beautiful month.

"I wish I could," Xias admitted
"But the score was never settled.
Now I'm left bitter with no way to end it."

Zane followed him, looking out at the beautiful world below them. "Things are left in the past, that is why there is the future." She said softly, her eyes trained ont he brilliant colors. "See? Look over there." She pointed to the outside. "That's one thing to be happy about. It's beautiful." She offered up.

Xias stared at the view, stricken.
It was almost as if he was seeing it for the first time.
Why hadn't he understood this before?
One way or the other, it was only one thign to appreciate.

"That view is the only happiness I have,"
the aristocrat stated. "There is nothing else."

Zane shook her head. "Not the only one. There will be a new season, bringing new treasures." She said. "You're alive, aren't you? You have power, money, looks, ect. You have a home, food. People respect you. I can name more, if you wish. If you let bad things get to you, then you'll be bitter and angry all the time, which isn't fun. Look at the good things, you'll be happier."
