Mark wrapped his arms around Cassidy and held her close. The scent of her hair filled his nose as he rested his head on hers.

Cassidy smiled softly and kissed his neck gently.

"I better go feed and check on the animals." Mark said, slowly lifting himself up on his elbows as to not make Cassidy uncomfortable.

"Alright." Cassidy smiled softly and laid down into the pillows.

Mark kissed Cassidy on the forehead before sitting up, his legs dangling over the side of the bed, and standing up. He walked out of the bedroom, stretching out as he opened the door, letting more light enter the room. He stepped outside and noticed
Bert on the ground. He walked to the back of his horse and noticed his foot was stuck in a gopher hole. He also noticed spit on Bert's neck. Glaring at Cheveyo, Mark called back to Cassidy. "Hey Cas?" He called. "You might want to come see this."
