Emma knew that she needed to step up her game. Anubis fell to the ground. He got up slowly. "Anubis use Forse Palm, and shadow claw in each hand!" She bellowed. Anubis ran at the Eevee who was only a few yards away. He had forse palm in his right hand and shadow claw in his left.

Sinder gritted her teeth, "Quick attack in circles and use Heal Ball!" She called, Jasmine darting in circles, a bright ball forming on her head. sinder watched, "Now, finish and dig! Have Iron tail and Shadow Ball ready!" The Eevee did have a gash from the attack, but it stayed strong, using dig, disappearing into the ground with a glowing tail.

Cody scratched the Eevee under its chin, and pulled out a pokéball with his free hand. "Wanna come with us, little guy?" he asked quietly. He wasn't even sure if it could understand what he said, but he had picked up the habit of talking to pokémon from his mother's Arcanine, who always seemed to know exactly what they were saying. He gently tapped the fox pokémon with the pokéball, crossing his fingers as it disappeared with a flash of white light.

Cody grinned as the pokéball wobbled a few times, then lay still in his palm. Victory looked around, puzzled, as if wondering where her new friend had gone. He lifted the pokéball and sent out his new pokémon. He licked his fingers, looking for more food, then bounded off towards the larger pokémon. Cody watched them play for a while, then clambered to his feet. For a moment he considered letting them walk along beside them, but then thought the better of it; what if they both ran off again?

Sure, when Victory had ran off it had led to him getting a new pokémon, but what if she ran into something more aggressive next time? Not all wild pokémon were young and playful like the Eevee.

He lifted their two pokéballs and recalled them both, then set off along the route, towards Jubilife City.

After explaining the training strategy to her three Pokemon, Tanya decided to train with Daraga first, moving away from Nereza and Sol as he backed away from the blue dragon. The Torchic was obviously nervous, but seemed determined as he started to creep towards the still dark type. Despite this, Nereza quickly whipped around to the orange chick's direction, snapping open her mouth to form a light blue orb release a beam of bright energy at him. It struck the ground near Sol, making him jump back with a panicked chirrup. "Chic! Torchic!" he squealed, staring at the patch of burned grass and flowers that the energy left behind.
"No? Dei-ei-ei..." Nereza sniggered, smiling wolfishly at Sol as she twizzled around, giving the fire type a fair chance to move to a different position and attempt to approach her again.

As Sol struggled to approach his target and Nereza continued to develop her listening skills, Tanya started to work with Daraga to develop her skills. The Heatran was still young and knew no moves of her typing, but she was pretty sure that it was workable. "Okay, Bug Bite is a strange move...could you combine that with Ancient Power?" she asked, quickly scanning her with her Pokedex to remember the fire-type's moves. Daraga nodded, smiling as she twisted around and started to romp towards a bush, rocks starting to rise from the ground around her and glow red slightly. They then suddenly spread out in an arc over the bush, moving slightly ahead of her before crashing into it. However, Daraga mistimed the Bug Bite and also got hit by the flying rocks, making her hiss in pain. The Heatran crashed down, digging in her clamp-like hands to the ground as to not fall over. "Tran!"
"Are you okay?" Tanya called anxiously, standing up to quickly jog over. However, Daraga had already recovered, moving away from the bush as she swiftly shook her metal-masked head dizzily.
"Heeat. Tran." she calmed her trainer, seemingly happy to just stretch her legs and get some training done. She had pretty good defences anyway; she wasn't frail at all.
"Cool, ready to try again?"

Sam finally grinned. "You know, I've never let two of my Pokemon breed. I already want my first Mystery egg to hatch;" she indicated the cracking egg-- "But another egg would be wonderful!"
Reyna, tilting her head, to see who she had in mind, curiously asked, "Sni?" Sam giggled. "Don't worry, it's not you." She looked over to look at Grace and Surge. She thought about it for a moment. "An Eevee.. hmm.." She walked over to the two, observing them secretively.
The two, having known each other for a long time, yawned, cradling against each other, making little purring noises. Finally, Sam walked over, and pat their heads. They tilted their heads, and stared at Sam, blinking curiously at this strange spectator. Then, Grace got the idea, crying out what the girl had in mind. Surge tilted his head, giving a shrug. Sam beamed. "You two will start a great family!"
Swiftly turning, she went to Reyna. "Let's give them some privacy." Reyna nodded, as Sam quickly returned the rest of her Pokemon, and picked up Reyna, putting her on top of her head. She walked off, not straying too far. She just went to the Pokemon Center. Well, not for any particular reason. But it wasn't too far from where the two Eevee evolutions were. Sam looked obviously excited.
The two stared blankly at each other. Finally, Grace sighed, getting up, followed by Surge. And..
