Lucy tried to slow her breathing and stay casual. It was quite easy actually, even when she just out-right stole someone Pokemon. Stole a Pokemon! To remain inconspicuous, she started browsing the stalls again. Happening to be passing Number Five, she decided to look over what it had to offer. Only several items were present, but they were nice.
Berry Pot? Already have one. Bike Voucher? Way to pricey right now. Pokéflute? She wasn't the musical type. Ah, there it was, a Good Rod. Not really the best kind of rod, but one couldn't complain. Checking out the price, Lucy saw it was only $200. That didn't sound like much, but when she was a money hoarder, 200 out of 1000 was kind of iffy. She grumbled to herself then, realizing that if she had went through with the Pokemon battle and won, the boy might have given her some money.
