"Okay," Lucy said to Dizzy,
"Let's get out of this place." She returned him and started to leave, not bothering to hide her vandalism. Because hey, that Zubat didn't put itself in the cage. She quietly exited the rundown building and quickly blended back into the normal flow of the city. Lucy still wasn't exactly sure what part of Jubilife she was in, but she did find that when turning the block, there was the main street.
There were two directions to choose from now: Oreburgh City or Floaroma Town. One had a gym and one didn't. Lucy waved the theory of gyms off. What purpose did they serve, really? Many people run around and try and collect all of the badges to try and show-up others. She didn't need material objects to show off; her actions will prove how good she really can be.
To Floroma it is then. Traveling northward, Lucy eventually came to the city limits. In front of her laid no longer buildings, but a grassy route flanked on both sides by a forest. She had to admit it was a short route, that is, until Lucy came to a wall of rock with a single entrance.
"Joy," she muttered to herself. Walking closer, she saw a sign posted that read
"Ravaged Path."The name didn't sound very appealing, but Lucy went inside anyway. It was considerably darker than it was outside in the sun, but not so much that someone would be rendered blind. The only way was up now, and by up, Lucy had to ascend a flight of stairs. They were obviously man made, having been carved into the rock face. Once at the top, there was a forked path. Arceus only knows were the left one leads, but the one on the right had a light at the end of the tunnel.
Going against what most people would say in a situation like this, Lucy went toward the light. On the other side was, surprise, the outside world.
That was surprisingly short, she thought. The name of the cave would have suggested a more treacherous path, but that was not so. Turning down Route 204, she had to walk up more stairs like it was such a big deal. A head of her was the easier road, but it was blocked by a steep ledge. Having no other choice but to take the detour, Lucy hurried along while sticking to the middle of the path.
More walking later, she arrived in Floaroma. The first thing that greeted her was the powerful scent of flowers. No wonder the word "aroma" was in the town name. Next came the sight of hundreds of flowers, all lined of in nice neat rows. Last but not least, it was noticed that everything was decorated. Or maybe it was always like that, Lucy wouldn't know. Slowing down as she looked back and forth, there was a good reason for everything to be decked out. A fair was going on, and she just to happened to visit at the right time.
The Pokemon Center was to her right, but there was no need to stop there right now. Lucy walked through the small town, nearing where the majority of things were set up. Game stalls, food stands, and shops were only a few things that were being hosted. She was attracted to a booth where a man was offering free items to passersby.
"Interesting," she said, browsing the selection. The Fashion Case didn't exactly appeal to Lucy's tastes, but hey, it was free.
