Like just stood in the middle of th common room, entranced by the vast aray of electronics.

Zia thought of something. "Hey, I know you like the foursome, but can I invite my roomate to come with us? Shes really cool. You know the one that shifted into a dog? I want to make sure she's not lonely."

Amber: I sat down on a bench waiting for Luke. I tapped a rhythm with my finger and hummed a little. After a while I stopped. What was taking so long? I grabbed my heart locker and opened it. Inside was a small hidden clock, I had been waiting for 5 minutes for him....Where was he?

Luke continued to drool over the room. Then suddenly a clock caught his eye.Crap! I've been in here for a long time! He raced out into the lobby and spotted Amber.

"I'm fine with that," Calvin told Zia, "I don't think anyone should be alone on their first day in a strange place, away from home. You don't mind, do you Violet? Melody?" he asked, not wanting to speak for the others, but realizing at the same time that they really had no choice but to agree, same as he.

Calvin wanted to get to know all of his classmates. He would have asked some of the other guys to join them, since he'd had little time to get to know any of them yet, but the chick flick move kind of put a damper on that possibility, and besides, he was enjoying the ladies undivided attention too much to want to share.

Melody shook her head slightly, shrugging. "No, of course not! This'll be great!" She responded cheerily. A chick flick. What thy were about to do finally hit her; it took all she had not to groan. She couldn't believe they had talked her into this! A chick flick, of all things! "So, what are we watching? Have you guys ever seen Music and Lyrics? My mom adores it, so it can't be too bad, right?"

Calvin eyed Melody with suspicion. He hadn't pegged her for a 'chick flick' kind of person, seeing as she'd jumped in there with horror so quickly and easily, but then perhaps that had more to do with her mood than her actual preferences. "There's also 'The Holiday'," he piped up with his own suggestion. Oops! I showed my hand! "My mother... said... it was a good... , yeah well, whatever we watch, I suggest we do it with a full stomach. So, let's roll! Food! Here we come!"
