((Sorry guys, been sick last couple of days and didn't feel up to writing. Where did everyone else go? No one's posted in days. Hey, I have a challenge for all our writers! I think my character Calvin is the only one using his power, which is weird because, think about it, if you had a superpower wouldn't you be using it or be practicing it a lot? Anyway, I challenge all our writers to write a scene where their character uses their power to help another character or non-player character, unless your power is only usable on yourself, in which case, just write a scene where you use your power on yourself. Anyway, I just thought it'd be fun, so if you wanna give it a shot, go for it!
Oh, and Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and caretakers and nurturers out there! Thank you and bless you all! We couldn't make it without you!))
Calvin searched his surroundings for Melody. Where had that girl disappeared to!? he wondered, getting frustrated all over again after twenty minutes of looking for her with his mind. The mental effort was tiring him out. Just then, he got a glimpse of her. He could sense Melody's mind somewhere nearby. He was near the freshmen classrooms now, so she could be in any of those rooms he realized. Don't they keep these rooms locked after hours? he griped. He began walking down the hallway of the first floor of the first building he came to. He was getting closer, slowly. It was like playing a game of hot and cold, if he moved one way and the signal got weaker, he moved in the opposite direction next. But he was headed in the right direction so he kept moving down the hallway, feeling for her. She was still upset, but not terribly so. He felt badly about stopping looking for her, but at that point he wouldn't have been much help to her anyway, he was having a weak moment himself, and an interaction between them then probably would have ended in an argument and hurt feelings. So it's all good, he thought... and hoped.
