Jake glanced around their area. "I'm not sure." Jake turned back to Nicole and Maya. "Where do you want to go?" he asked. "I'm not sure."

"Back to the hole?' I ask, raising an eyebrow

Jake shrugged slightly. "Yeah, we could do that. We would have supplies." Jake wrapped his arm around Nicole, gave her a swift hug, and slowly began limping towards their shelter.

I smile. "I'm gonna clean some water then I'll meet you two at the hole. I say, pulling the empty canteen out of my back pack along with the (I forgot what it's called)

Maya was a little confused at "The Hole" part but she didn't care. If it had supplies, well, that was good. She followed Jake.

Jake looked back to Maya and Nicole. "Hurry up slow boat," he hollered, meaning Maya. "I can hobble faster than you can walk." He tossed a smile over his shoulder and leaned against the tree that they had been using.
