Jordan nodded. "Okay, cool. Could you please explain what this is? I just want to-" She cut herself off, realizing she didn't have anything to say. It was like there was a huge, gaping hole where whatever it was she was going to say had been, like it had just... disappeared.

He looked down where the box WAS at, noticing it was gone. And he just shook his head," You'll find out eventually. Meanwhile, may I have your name?" He asked, and added," Mine's Kelvin."

"Jordan." Jordan replied softly. "I think. I don't remember anything else, but I assume you already know that." She shrugged, brushing her long blonde hair away from her face. "I'm going to be here for a while, arn't I?"

He nodded," Like we all are. You want me to show you around?"

Jordan shrugged. "Yeah, okay." She nodded and took a step forward, taking in her surroundings.

" Alright. Let's start with the walls. And why you AREN'T to leave them unless you are a runner."

Jordan nodded slowly. "Okay. I assume you are referring to the huge, looking walls above us, so I won't ask any stupid questions. But what's a Runner?" She cocked her head, curious.

" A Runner is a person who goes out almost every day to run through the Maze beyond the walls to try to find a way out. If someone wanted to be a Runner, they have to be hella fast."

Jordan nodded. "Sounds cool." She replied. The thought interested her to say the least, running around all day in a giant maze. Kinda boring, but cool at the same time. "So where do I fit in here?" She asked suddenly, a sense of longing dragging at her eart in that instant.

He seemed to look down for a long moment, checking her legs, and their length, and said," If you want, you might be a Runner.."
