(soooo sorry, so much workkkk, back for a tiny bit:) i may not be back for a day or two, just warning you ahead of time this time, sorry about dissappearing so often:P )
Thoughts swirled in Jake's brain, like a lazy eddy of water in a creek. slowly he became aware of a solid object below him. Realization dawned, it must be his bed. He shifted his shoulder, there was something hard poking under it. Wait, a fresh wind was blowing. This wasn't just waking up from sleep. His eyes snapped open, it all flooding back. "well, so much for that idea," he muttered. His eyes focused on Toshiro stooping over him. It must have only been a few minutes-or less. He sat up, it surprised him that he wasn't dizzy at all. "Man! what happened? i mean, where'd all the energy go?" he felt weak, which was weird. His arms ached and moving was difficult, like he'd run a marathon the day before. "it was there," he murmured to himself, "then... well, it was powerful. too much to control. it flooded me like a blown dam. Man!" he groaned. "maybe i grounded it?" he was just rambling now, trying to get his thoughts back in order.

Stops and looks at him as he starts babbling." Fire a powerful thing stronger even when in liquid form. I have connection to it and it would still destroy me in this form. It's energy strong but not unstoppable. Ice is different mater it suck energy from all that touch it. Even more so if connected to fire."

Toshiro gasped in relief "Jake, your awake! Thank goodness." He sighed. Just then a girl came running up. His head shot up, and in a single movement, he jumped to his feet, turning to face her. "who are you?" He demanded

Jake stood up, swaying a tad before he found his balance again. "whoa... yeah, who are you?" he asked doubtfully. Toshiro he could trust, he figured. after all, if he'd wanted to kill him, while he was out would have been the perfect timing. But new people were an entirely different matter.

" My name is Shadow of the night." Gives a slight bow hands going out to the side. "Though my name really does me no justice as it would be more correct Flame of the night but my parents wanted me to be like them." Calls a small flame forth into her hand." Like I said fire has lots of energy and few master it. Liquid fire has even more energy than other fire.

I stood there in shock.I lift my hand up and started to freeze the lava.

"Umm, nice to meet you," Jake muttered. He'd stood up to fast and all the blood had rushed from his head. to be completely honest, he was slightely dizzy. but on the outside he knew it wouldn't show. besides, it would go away in a few seconds. "So, does that mean you know how to control the stuff?" he asked.

"I can manipulate it yes completely control it not so much." Turns to the lava and hardens some of it but is unable to harden all of it.

Toshiro narrowed his eyes, but decided hot to asked her about her past. He flinched slightly when she brought forth the fire. He glanced at Jake. Was he really ok? His gaze went back to shadow. His headache was getting worse.

She noticed his narrowed eyes and her eyes saddened. "I will not tell you of my past as it is a hard one and I will share the burden with no one."
