Toshiro blinked open his eyes "right." He rolled his shoulders back "let's do this!"

(sorry for shortness, I'm a little distracted right. Just got a new kitten )

*runs out of the house window back on to the bar stretching her armed out for balance before running to the next house and checking there. Finding no one she continued on until the bar ended where she looked down not afraid but completely calm and silent.*

(sorry, had to write essays and stuff for school, been a bit distracted:) oh my! that is soooo cute! what color is the kitten? we used to have kittens all the time until dad got all our cats fixed:P )
"Okay, here take my hand, I find that it's the most direct current," Jake reached out his hand and closed his eyes. This would be harder than anything he'd ever done, he'd never had to temper energy to a usable source for other people. Focus, man, you've got to focus! Slowly he probed out, he could feel the waves of untempered energy rolling off the lava and disappearing into the atmosphere, he reached out and grabbed it. Often times he wondered what it looked like to others while he was standing there because he wasn't physically doing anything, it was like a mind-body grabbing at things that the real one couldn't. He wrapped his fingers around the heat and it began to fill him. Somehow it was being condensed, even he himself didn't understand what was done that made this energy electricity instead of the regular ol' heat, but somewhere along the line of him grasping it, it became that sparkling blue fire. At first the energy was like a small spring, filling him up slowly, taking its time. but suddenly, like water on a wetted surface, began flooding him. It hit him like a wall, it was too much. So much, he'd never encountered this much untempered and uncontrolled energy before. His veins were on fire, they were ripping apart as he tried to hold and contain it all. He was vaguely aware of a scream. Then, darkness.
(okay, to explain what happened here:P Basically he closed his eyes and stood rigidly for maybe thirty seconds, his hands twitching. Electricity began to gather between his fingers. Then, just suddenly and out of the blue he screamed harshly (yes that was him he was hearing) and covered his face with his hands then just crumpled to the ground in a dead faint. Basically (even with his enhancements to control energy-electricity) he couldn't control that much of it when he tapped into it too quickly. He'll come to in just a few moments, after his body has expelled the energy:) i'm not trying to be over dramatic, just thinking that it wouldn't be fair if he got it right the first time;) )

Toshiro was just about to grab his hand, when Jake suddenly screamed then fainted. "Jake!" He knelt beside him. He could feel the heat from the energy leaking from him. Focusing, he attempted to make a sheet of ice to help consume the energy, but it was no good. He had used to much energy earlier, his head was still pounding from it, and when he tried to make the ice, it felt like someone had stabbed him with a knife, causing him to wince

*turned quickly hearing the shout and ran down the pole one foot in front of the other arms out so to be balanced as even fire would consume her in this form. She continued towards the place she had heard the scream worried some one was hurt.*
