People with powers rp

Ingrid sent Kuro a mental feeling of her tongue out at him. She reached the bottom and sprinted back up, falling once, to do it again.

Jake sat down next to Toshiro. He reached over and felt the other boy's forehead, checking his temperature. "You seem to be normal... for a normal person that is. So that means you're still a bit hot?"

Erin sat down at the top and watched Ingrid, keeping an eye on her in case she hurt herself or wandered off as young children sometimes did.

(we could say that Jake just doesn't like the idea of a normal person hanging around. It's hard to keep secrets when one of you is sick and there is a child who reads minds. And he thinks Kuro is too curious blah blah blah;) IDK, just thinking again)

(yeah and then when they find out that Kuro has powers he could be mad at him because he lied and/or not trust him because he wonders about his motives)

Kurosuna rolled his eyes at the child and sat down.

Toshiro smirked "your learning." He rolled over on his side and looked into the water. He reached out his hand and put it in the water.

(what should happen next? Should the water freeze? Should his fever go away? Any ideas?)

(Yeah! This could be kind of fun:) usually my characters are really easy-going, some intercharacter conflict could be entertaining XD hmmm, if it froze it'd be kind of entertaining to see Kuro's reaction... but I think it'd be a bit early. We need some time for Jake and Kuro to gather a bit of annoyance to each other. So maybe if the water got noticibly cooler, and then Jake and Toshiro could notice but Kuro and Erin wouldn't notice or something?)

After the second time down Ingrid was a bit slower coming up the hill, Erin noticed. After the third time, she was weaving a bit when she first stood up. The fourth; she was weaving all the way up the hill. Upon her fifth roll, she kept falling down when she tried to stand up. "Silly goose," Erin muttered, stifling a giggle. Ingrid seemed to be having a great deal of fun not being able to walk straight and was laughing uncontrollably.

"But it's down from earlier, cause even the doc recognized you had a slight fever, even if they thought it wasn't much," Jake said, trying to be encouraging.

(hehe, just had a thought, if Ingrid gets nauscious from rolling down the hill, will Toshiro feel that too, or only pain?)

(hmm hehe maybe he should.... But at the same time, I feel like his power isn't strong enough to pick up something like that yet.)(yeah, ok)

Toshiro smirked. As he but his hand in the water, a little bit of fog started to roll over the surface of the water, and ice crystals formed on his hand. Toshiro smiled as he felt the freezing cold feel of the water on his hand. He could feel the cold going up his arm and through out his body. As he took his hand out, the tiny bit of fog that was there drifted away.

Kurosuna shook his head as he watched Ingrid.

Jake noticed and squeezed Toshiro's shoulder, "yes! that has to be a good sign!" he grinned broadly. "Earlier you couldn't even form the ice at all."

Ingrid stumbled up the hill and collapsed in Erin's lap. "You're so silly," Erin said, tickling her. Ingrid squealed and fell of her lap. But she hopped right back on when Erin confirmed she wasn't going to tickle her anymore. "AND you are a mess!" Sand was all over in the child's hair and in her clothes. Her shoelaces were practically a mass of sand instead of individual strands.

Kurosuna smirked "the sand likes her." He smiled. He was growing fond of the kid.

Toshiro grinned "I feel like much of the fever has gone." He wasn't quite as cold as he normally was, but he was definantly colder than body temp.

(blah! Why can't I ever spell that word!)

"Well, you would know wouldn't you," Erin teased, beginning to slap the sand off the child's clothes. She had always hated it when her foster parents had done that but she realized now it was pretty close to the only way to get sand off, it didn't rub off.

"I wonder why? I mean, shouldn't exercise be bad for someone who isn't feeling well?" Jake asked.

(I know right?! I used to be pretty good at spelling (that is, until I took Spanish) and I still don't remember that ONE word x.x XD and btw, I'm sorry I didn't get on to warn you and change my vote on the poll, but I probably won't be able to get on much again:P )

Are you going back to only getting on the weekends?))(haha XD I was pretty good at it, until I started using spell check XD ))

Toshiro.blinked, he hadn't thought of that. "hmm yeah... I mean, I think so. I'm not a doctor after all..." It was true that he felt much better when referring to.his fever.and overall pain, but some of it worsened. Now why would some get better and some get worse? He shook his head, he didn't understand any of it.

Kurosuna smirked "true." He placed his hand under his mouth and blew, almost like, he was blowing a kiss. All the sand rolled off of Ingrid and into the air. The sand seemed to sparkle as it slowly floated back down to.the ground.

(well, maybe less often... I'm sorry:( I don't like it as much as you don't:P I'll only be on on weekends IF THEN:'( )

"Well, yeah, neither of us are so I suppose there has to be something we don't know. Either way it happened and we just get to deal with it; I choose to look on it as an improvement." Jake said steadily. It could potentially be a relapse, but what did he know? And there was also that huge factor that even a doctor wouldn't know about that pertained to Toshiro having powers and all.

(ooooh, should Jake and/or Toshiro see? O.O )

Toshiro nodded and rolled over.onto his back and closed his eyes. The walk.really had worn him out. Before he even knew it, he had fallen asleep. His chest rose and fell rhythmically.
