Thunder rumbled outside and Halo sat bolt upright. She looked at the window and stood up. Another bolt sent her into the hallway and she scrabbled around in the dark, trying to find her brother's room.

shadow walked around the castle. just as she thoought she would die of fear, halo accidentally crashed into her.

[Malcasia]

(Nm Mad Writer. Shadow is wandering around, Kage is asleep and Halo just plowed Shadow over in the hall after being scared awake by the thunder)

Halo let out a screech as she ran into someone or something as she rounded the corner and stumbled backwards, flailing her arms. She landed on her butt and scooted backwards into the corner with a growl.

Christean hears noise and goes the source. "what is with the racket." She asks.

shadow sqealed. when she saw it was halo, she said,"halo! you scared the life out of me! what are you doing here?"

[Malcasia]

Halo looked from Christean to Shadow with a terrified look and screamed when thunder pounded over head, burying her face in her arms. "I..." She began but grew silent, pushing herself back farther against the wall when the thunder rumbled again.

"don't worry,"shadow said , coming over to halo,"nothing's going to happen."

[Malcasia]

Halo peered over her arm at Shadow, watching her with black and crimson eyes. It didn't help much, she still shook as if she were a leaf in the storm.

shadow sat beside halo and put her hand over her shoulder."don't worry." she repeated.
