Stumbling backwards, she lashed out with her claws and sliced a gouge in the cat's face and bit down on her ear, wrenching herself away from the cat with another screech of pain at the abuse. Backing herself into the corner again, she wobbled a little on her feet and prepared to fight off the cat, hoping no-one else would take her on; she could keep off one person, but more than that, and she would be distracted just enough
