Kitayla was actually trying to stay awake for her brothers. But, she failed at this quite quickly. She looked much calmer sleeping.

Suiren didn't speak, words just refused to come. Deep down, something just burned, making it impossible to tell what it was. Agony? Sorrow? Self-hatred? He couldn't tell. He didn't want to.
Heart gave the Light a dark side glance. "Remember, Fate, this isn't your game anymore. Screw this up and I swear your kind will be rounded off to one-hundred. Don't test my power." Her voice was still calm, but icey. "There's still a chance he could be revived. We need to cut his heart so deeply it cannot heal."

Alik finished the song, still smiling. She was known to be a silent, slightly worried type, but she felt confident.
