Carter grinned quite happily, regardless of being told off by a twelve year old.
Gabriel and Lucinda had moved back behind some benches to get away from the dragon and Gabriel was helping Lucinda make more piles of sand on the floor. Well, Gabriel was making the piles of sand, Lucinda was decorating them with pebbles. Gabriel looked up when Akuma walked over, "Morning Akuma."

Max whined and simply sat on the floor crying when the shockwave hit them, after all he was behind Beatrice.

Evan narrowed his eyes, he grabbed other of his throwing knives and threw it at Carter's shoulder.

Akuma gave a small nod to Gabriel, "er morning?" She sat down next to them, watching them, "I find it funny that you know my name, yet I dont know yours." She had seen him around for the three years she had been at the school, but she had never gotten his name. She glanced in the direction of crying, and saw it was Max. She frowned slightly when she realized that he must have been affected by the shockwave for being near the teacher and assistant. "That jerk." She muttered under her breath before looking back to Gabriel and Lucinda.

Carter grimaced in pain when there was suddenly a knife sticking out of his shoulder. He pulled it out, since it would hurt more to keep it in, and covered the bleeding wound with his hand. He decided it would be best to disappear off to the infirmary before he bled to death.
Gabriel smiled faintly, "Actually, I'm not sure it is morning." He scooped another pile of sand into shape and passed Lucinda a pile of rocks to decorate it with. "I only know your name because I found your sister the first year she was here running up and down the corridors screaming it. I'm Gabriel Londris. Y'know, the councilor's kid that disappeared for a year? That's me." He scooped up some more sand for Lucinda and then nodded, "I honestly doubt Carter has the capacity to even realize he's being a jerk."
Lucinda piled up some rocks and then noticed her sister, "Aki! This is angel boy!"

"next time you won't live to take the knife out" Evan hissed and walked over to Beatrice and the crying Max, "you to alright?" he asked.

Max just whimpered and kept crying.

Carter pulled a face and slipped out of the arena before Evan could catch him. He headed up to the infirmary because, even though he hated that place, he didn't want to bleed to death.

Beatrice nodded, rubbing her head as she looked over at Max. She gently hugged him with her unbroken arm and asked him, "You okay kiddo?"

Max whined, "I-I twisted my ankle" he sobbed

Beatrice sighed quietly, learning that Max had twisted his ankle. "I can't carry you... Evan broke my arm." She jabbed the teacher in the leg and then pointed at Max, "You need to carry him to the infirmary he's hurt his ankle."

Lucinda's attention drifted away, and Gabriel sighed quietly. "I don't tell people what happened when I was away. But your sister managed to find out somehow... I can't tell you, I barely even know you." He smiled cryptically. "I might tell you one day little Chance." He then slipped into hawk form and flew off.
