Poland nodded his head as he absorbed Latvia's questions. "Readying your army would be a good idea. After todays meeting, the order was sent out to mine to prepare itself for combat and to defend its country from Russia, if it does indeed come to that. As for ourselves- my boss has a bunker prepared for the important government officials and such, and a few different safe houses set up for us, which she is recommending we move between while there is such a threat looming over us. I agree that my house is too obvious a place to stay in a situation like this. But on the other hand, in my basement, there are a series of tunnels which are accessible. They were built during the second World War and connect to the sewers as well as to an underground bunker which is bomb proof. Sort of a cowards way out, I know, having and escape route like that, but I makes me feel safer to know its there." Poland shrugged, hoping that he had given satisfying answers to all of the smaller blonde's questions.

"That's not being a coward, I think that the hidden tunnel system is a great idea!" Latvia insisted. "Actually, I think we should use that instead of the safe houses! I mean, it'd be harder to find us, don't you think?" The boy surprised himself by actually grinning when giving his opinion. It wasn't that he was glad that Russia had decided to target them; of course it was just the opposite, but the fact that they might actually have a chance of being able to escape or at least evade him for a few days was comforting to him. And besides, he wouldn't have to fend for himself this time--Poland would be with him and help him, to which Latvia would obviously return the favor.

(Would you mind starting that now, Lenna?)

Antarctica made her way back up to where they all were previously and narrowed her eyes in annoyance. "Where is she? She said she'd be back..." The continent continued to make her way farther and farther away from the buildings and closer to the battlefield. "What a liar..." She whispered under her breath when she spotted Fiji and ran up to get closer to the island. "Umm, hey Fiji..What exactly are you doing?" She asked in annoyance.

(If you reply for Canada, I could work it into my New Zealand post. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure how to start it ^.^" Maybe I'll post for Russia later, but I haven't got time right now. Sorry it took me a while, I had a bunch of homework yesterday- my math teacher is just laying it on us :\ Oh well- I'll try to be fast at replying anyways. Just don't do something dirastic. )

Poland couldn't help but smile a little as he nodded in agreement with what the smaller boy had said. He was pleased that Latvia thought well of the backup plan he had prepared- after all, it was intended for situations like these, so Poland would be glad to put it to use again. Well, not glad that he had to use it, but glad that he had the ability to use it in this time of need. "I'll show you where it is, okay? That way, if you need to use it and I'm somewhere else, you'll still be okay." Poland said, standing from his chair and walking towards the basement door, turning to look over his shoulder to make sure that Latvia was following him.

(Nyuuuu don't close this!!! D: I'm at school until five every day… but yesterday I was home for about an hour, but that was used to get ready for church and I didn't get home until ten thirty...)

Kaiiyen loved the fact that France saw her as an innocent helpless girl. Looks like the disguise was working. But when the real fight came, if it ever did, she would be ready. She studied Spain and France silently with golden eyes, thinking about what each stood for. 'She just simply wanted peace between everyone.' A coy smile spread across her lips absent mindedly as she looked away, getting to her feet. The good and sweet side of her told her to go back from wherever she came from, but the darker side said let the blood be spilt.

(Kinda want Kaiiyen to work for Russia.... :\ )

Addison slowed her pace a little so that it matched her brother's, walking side by side with him. "When the war is over? I don't know Mattie. This war... it reminds me of World War II. Remember that one? Lots of needless overtaking of helpless countries and far too much bloodshed without a valid reason behind it. When this is over, I think it will take a while for all the nations to recover from the destruction and loss. It always does. I'm more concerned with what state the world will be in, you know? I mean, with the way things are going right now, it looks like Papa and Russia are each going to own large portions of the Earth. It's like the colonization days all over again, and at least as brutal. With that in mind, if the countries don't rebel for their freedom, then it's likely that eventually it will come down to Papa fighting Russia for... world domination. It sounds kinda silly doesn't it, like something out of a story?" she mused with a sigh, looking rather tired. War was stressful and she hated the pressure of it. The feeling that she needed to protect everyone she loved was rather overbearing and it hurt to know that Mattie or Aussie could get hurt or worse during this chaos. But then again, no one really liked war, did they?

"Yeah, it does....I wish this was all just a story, to be honest, Addy," Canada admitted softly, looking intently at the ground in front of him. He knew his sister was right, that things were most likely going to get worse as power struggles continued. If they could just stop it, though, before the most impact happened, if they could just win the upcoming battle...then they might just have the slimmest of a chance to beat them. Of course, the world would be in ruins no matter who won, but the countries have worked together in repairing and getting back on their feet before, he had no doubt that they could do it again. "But, this battle should end it, right? For better or for worse."

New Zealand thought over her brother's question, staring ahead of them for a moment before slowly nodding her head. "Yeah, I suppose so. Russia and Papa seem to be putting their all into this one." she agreed with a sigh, glancing over at her brother for a moment. Just when she was about to say something more on the topic, her cell phone buzzed from within her pocket, startling her. "Oh. I suppose that's probably Russia." she mused, taking out the phone and answering it after checking the caller ID to be sure. "This is New Zealand." She paused, listening to the voice on the other end of the phone. "Yes, we're almost there-" Another pause as she was cut off by the Russian, who had begun speaking again. "No, they aren't with us." She waited, the silence on her end much longer this time as Russia began giving instructions. "We have to- Um, okay. Yes, I can tell him. Alright. Goodbye." She hung up with a deep frown, looking over at her brother. Russia had said he would call Antarctic with the news next, so she only had to tell her brother. "Matt, we have an assignment from Russia." She paused, pursing her lips for a moment, trying to figure out how to phrase the instruction. She decided that it would be easiest to be blunt and get straight the to point. "We are to invade Poland and Latvia, and take them by whatever force necessary. Russia's orders. He wants them back here by tomorrow at the latest, and their countries under contract within the week."

(I can't speak for Germany, but I know England and Russia are always up for new recruits, hehe ^.^)

Singing softly to herself, she got up and, making sure their backs were turned, walked off. It was a pretty long walk to where she was going, but she had time.
"I'm the fly in your soup, I'm the pebble in your shoe, I'm the pea beneath your bed, I'm the bump on every head..." She sang eerily, once out of view and hearing range.
