"I'm, umm..." she started, but hesitate. Did she really want to ask her brother for help? She didn't want to trouble him, especially if he was busy with something. "I don't want to be any trouble, Mattie." she said, biting her lip with a slight frown. "But... I think Wonderland and I might need some help getting there. I think I hurt my ankle, and the quake, and..." she rambled, not wanting to be a nuisance to her brother.
Poland got the shovel, his lower lip trembling a little. He wondered if he would actually have the guts to bury his friend when the time came. He could only hope that he would. He glanced into the kitchen and saw that Latvia wasn't there. He walked upstairs quietly, figuring he knew where the little nation would be. He saw the boy sleeping in his old bed a smiled a little, shutting the door. He figured that Latvia wouldn't be able to stand the sight of Lithuania being buried, so Poland left the house, shovel in hand, locking the door behind him. He set off toward that field, feeling his heart sinking with every step he took. He was beginning to doubt himself. Could he really do it? Bury his best friend. His only friend in the whole world.
Russia considered this request for a moment, tapping one finger against his chin. "Da, I guess you would." he said thoughtfully with a smile. "But why should I help you?" the Russian asked bluntly, looking down at the small Haitian girl.
