Rain stoped, and Jay jumped off. She smiled at the sky and streached, sitting down on the swinging bench and resting her feet in the shallow water. "Oh-" Jay yanked her feet up from the water, and cursed under her breath. There was a small punkture wound on her ankle, that was bleeding badly.
Jack was on his way back to camp when he heard a growling in the bushes. He whipped his head around to see a tiger with a scar on his side growling at him. He assumed it was the same tiger that attacked Summer and Jay awhile back. He took out his knife, it seemed useless compared to the large cat. He jumped at it, knife in front of him. "Get!" he yelled.
Jay heard Jack yelling, and leaped on to her horse, although it was agony to walk, she somehow got to Rain. "Jack!" She galloped over to him. "Ah!" Jau cringed to her foot and the looked up. "Shoo!" Rain stompped towards the tiger, making it back up, but only a few steps before ir roared and pawed at them agian.
Jack still had his knife held out, he leaped at the tiger again. This time, tiger leaped back, slamming him onto the ground. He dropped his knife in surprise.
Jay leaped off her horse, and grabbed the kife. Pushing the tiger, it angered it enough to make it turn to her, letting Jack go. "Get on Rain and Leave!" She shouted to him.
Jack scrambled to his feet. "You know dang well I'm not gonna leave!" he said. He noticed blood on the grass and seen Jay's ankle. "You've got enough problems already."
Rain naighed loudly, bucking at the tiger, making it claw at Jay, hitting her down, blacking out and sliceing a gash on her shoulder and neck. Then, it growled at the horse, and rushed back into the jungle.
Jack kneeled down beside Jay. People with head injuries aren't supposed to be moved. he thought. He knew he didn't have alot of time. He couldn't go back to camp in case the tiger came back. Confusion ran through his head. He used his shirt to put pressure on her wounds and cut off another strip to tie around her ankle.
