[Tossing Spades]

"No, it's not only up to me, you know what I think of you;" Jay replied. "You have to choose which way we'll go in the road. YOu have to tell me how you feel, but I think I already know by your reaction."

[Swiftnose]

"Well I'm just afraid that if it didn't work out, things would be awkward." Jack said. "And that's definately not something you want on an island."

[Tossing Spades]

"No, it's not that, I can deal with that. I can understand if you don't feel the same way," Jay told him. "I'll deal with it."

[Swiftnose]

"I was just surprised, Jay." Jack said again.

[Tossing Spades]

Jay was confused now. "Then, what. . . how . . ." She shook her head slightly. "If you where just suprised, then. . " She didn't know what to say.

[Swiftnose]

Jack didn't say anything, he just smiled and got up. "Swimming made me hungry. You want something to eat?" he asked.

[Tossing Spades]

Jay turned away. "No." She muttered, looking out the window agian. "The fish is in the basket."

[Swiftnose]

Jack laughed a bit as he grabbed a fruit. He still didn't think she'd figured it out. He sat down in a chair outside, relaxing.

Jay wasn't anrgy, sad, but just unsure.

Jack finished his fruit and went to his shelter, deciding to give Jay some time to think. He looked around. He had some extra palm fronds left from the roof, so he started tying a bunch together with one piece of vine. He tucked the ends of the vine in between the bamboo on each side of the window that always woke him up with light in the morning, making a curtain and blinds at the same time.
