Lizzy nods. "I'm sorry all this had to happen to you..." she murmurs, a single year falling from her eye and rolling down her pale cheek. She quickly wipes it away and then drops both her hands down to her sides, playing with the hems of her robes.

Vincent stopped Lizzy right there, gently turning her around to face him. "Don't be sorry, Lizzy," he says softly, tucking a strand of blond hair behind the girl's ear. God, how he missed being able to do that whenever he wanted.. "But there is one thing I have to know." He let out a sigh, closing his blue eyes. "What did I do to make you choose him?"

Lizzy gazes into his eyes. She could feel his breath lightly hitting her face and a chill runs down her spine. She decides to ignore his question completely and instead whispers, "Do you remember, the night that I told you about Antonine? That night you made me promise one thing. That I would never kiss him ever again. Well I've never had to promise anything like that to him about you." then she slips her arms around his neck and kisses his lips.
