Lizzy turns sharply and frowns. "what?" She asks softly, trying to pull her wrist from his grasp.

He raised his free hand, letting the index finger trail down the side of her face.

"Why are you so bothered?" He thought she loved Vince. And now she was annoyed that things wouldn't work between himself and her?

~yep, if Vince decides to warm up to Willow I think that would work out well ~

Lizzy looks away. "I feel... unwanted. Vincent is angry with me. You have made it clear you think it's wrong for you and I to be together so I don't know where to turn..." she says frowning.

Professor Frosst
He sighed. Again.

"Lizzy, I am here for you. But while your relationship with Mr. Steele is unbroken - I mean neither of you have ended it - we can not be together." He explained, wrapping one of her curls around his finger. They were both bound to be upset by the turn of events, but that was no excuse for Lizzy practically throwing herself at him. He was more than happy with that, but he didn't want her feelings to be clouded by her confusion over her near-marriage to Vince. Antonine wanted her to be willing.

"You have to choose."

Lizzy listens in silence, eyes focused on his fingers twirling a strand of her hair. She nods as he finishes. "I understand..." she mutters reluctantly. "I need to go back to my room and change, then I need to go find Vincent..." she says softly.

Willow frowns and jumps down off the bed. She follows Vince, easily keeping up with him. "And where do you think you're going?" She snaps with a smirk.

His heart sank. He'd said the wrong thing and now she was choosing her fiance.

What did you expect? His head and heart repremanded him. She was going to marry him. Of course she chooses him!

Shut up! He shot back, not caring that he was talking to himself. He shook the voice away and looked at her, trying not to let his feelings show.

"Of course. Do you want me to accompany you, or are you fine on your own?"

"I want you to come with me." Lizzy says after a second. She slips her hand into his. "You have that look In your eye again. Like you are nervous or something... what's wrong?" She asks him with a slight frown.

She'd noticed. Screw Merlin!

"Nothing at all, Lizzy. Nothing." He assured her, lying through his teeth to try and convince her he was telling the truth. He couldn't speak of his fears. "Shall we set off?"

Lizzy stares into his eyes, trying to read deeper. "You think... you think I chose him..." she murmurs softly. Her voice barely loud enough for herself to hear.
