The Orties Realm ~Creature/Escape RP~Not open yet!~

You've lived in Florida your whole life. You like to call it the edge of the world, as you've looked out across the endless blue ocean fading into the horizon ever since you were a little child. Beautiful, swaying, salty and misty. You would've never dreamed of what was under the water, and what you really were. You never seemed to notice the strange changes and forms of the ocean, you were too used to them to think they were actually something wrong. Something bad. When you were a young child, staring over the water, the strangest shape formed, and your parents left you there. A foster family found you, but never told you that you really weren't their own and was completely oblivious to the fact. Until now.
One day your parents sit you down at the table for a talk. You're now a teenager. They explain every thing about what happened when you were a child, and you can't believe it. There was really something wrong with the strange shapes after all, and that was what made your own family desert you and get rid of you. Florida's own ocean. The place you've worshiped and loved your entire life. The place that nothing could ever possibly go wrong in, is the worst thing that ever happened in your life!
You run away. Down to the coast of Florida, watching the shapes form. Suddenly, all shapes stop and blend into the water, and you can hear them sinking closer. Suddenly, one reaches out and grabs you, forming into a hand. It drags you under the water and takes the form of a snake. You turn into one, too! It drags you down to the bottom of the ocean, and then you black out, the water too murky to see anything but your own bubbly breathing and the rippling waves far above you, shapes still forming as if they're going after others. None of them could be like you, though, or have the same history as you..could they?
You wake up in a small room. Empty, clean and dry. Curiously, you head for the door, but it's jammed shut or locked, you can't tell. Suddenly, the door forces itself open, and a regular lady walks in. She inspects you, before jamming the door shut with a confused look on her face. You can hear her talking to someone else outside, but can't make out what she's saying, only the strange tone in her voice. Finally, you too inspect yourself, and find a strange creature where your body should be. It's a wild animal, with all your special features. You'd thought everything seemed smaller, but wasn't quite sure.
You're whole life, you've actually been an animal creature stuck in a human's body. You still have the ability to change into a human, and animal, but the lady and strange others constantly try to keep you from changing. You've been found by the Orties Realm, the land far below the ocean, a place for misfits. Workers from the Asylum there have been watching you for your entire life, and now they've found the good time to get you, as they know your Foster Parents would've found you if you stayed. Now, you must try to get out and get back home, even if your family isn't really your family after all..Or you could always stay in the Orties Realm..Either way, the Asylum won't be any help, and your main focus is to get out of it.
